A similar thing happened to YDC Season 2 yoshos who got bad pools, like Yosho Sakai's pool (RIP TRIPLE CHOC YOSHO), Yoshoe's pool (RIP Opal Yosho), amongst others.

Having too much fun with this and not doing much quality control or thoughts about how balanced any card would actually be in a game of MTG but can always change cards later.

I have now decided to TWEAK THE BATTLE SYSTEm A BIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Before:
(12 ATK * 7 power * (1+1)) / (4 * 12 DEF) = 3.5

After:
0.4 * [(12 ATK * 7 power * (1+1)) / 12 DEF] = 5.6

I'm struggling to find the balance of fight length. I want a 7-power attack to take away a little under half of their health, as 7 POWER SHOULD BE THE NORm.

On the average yosho, moves that take away 5 STA are huge. I need to alter Stamina depletion, Attack power, and THAT'S EVEN BEFORE I CONSIDER ACCURACIES, HEALING AND ABILITIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course, some moves will be worse than others. Stamina depletion means that, later in the fight, Belly Bash could deal around 2-3 HP each time. IT'S A LOT TO WEIGH UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For example:
- Raw Energy - The Stamina damage bonus is doubled.

I love this ability, BUT IT'S A TRICKY ONE TO DEAL WITH WHEN BALANCING. It effectively mULTIPLIES ATTACK BY 1.5x unless stamina is depleted, AND THAT'S HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It turns 5.6 into 8.4. THAT'S 5HP VS 8HP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's the difference between having over half of your health left and ONLY A THIRD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

However, at least this is only a turn one issue. RED LAZER EXISTS!!!!!!!!!!

0.4 * [(12 ATK * 3 power * (1+(1*2))) / 12 DEF] = 3.6

That happens 4 times. I NEED TO THEN CHANGE THESE mOVES, AND LOOK FOR OTHER POTENTIAL SITUATIONS OF DOOm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At the same time, a weaker yosho mAY FAIL TO DO ANY DAmAGE WITH RED LAZER, either due to low attack, low stamina, OR ANYTHING ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

9/13 accuracy on every hit luckily means that there's a good chance one will miss. It also depletes half of the stamina of a 12 STA yosho. That means plenty of yoshos will fail to be on low enough stamina for it to do 0 damage. I also have the option to raise the stamina cost even more to avoid the risk of low stamina.

I'll be working on this stuff A LOT over the next two months. :)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

And again with Belly Bash:

0.4 * [(12 ATK * 7 power * (1+0.667)) / 45 DEF] = 1.244

And one more:

0.4 * [(12 ATK * 7 power * (1+0.333)) / 45 DEF] = 0.995

And now it's impossible to do damage with Belly Bash.

YOU CAN USE HYPER-DEFENSE TO SHRUG OFF BLOWS LIKE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU CAN EXHAUST YOUR OPPONENT IF THEY HAVE NO EXTRA mEASURES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thwack costs 0 Stamina, but then if a HYPER-DEFENSE takes on a HYPER-DEFENSE, I need to make sure one of them will EVENTUALLY DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The attack THEN does 4/3 OF ITS ORIGINAL DAmAGE!!!!!!!!!!! That's not as powerful AS DOUBLE DAmAGE, so I'll buff the power up to 5 power. When a foe is on 0-STA, this attack will have THE EQUIVALENT OF 10 POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's REALLY GOT LOTS OF POTENTIAL!!!!!!!!!!!!

So it would do 5HP, while a regular attack would just do this:

(1+1) - The first 1 is always there. THE SECOND ONE IS YOUR PERCENTAGE STAmINA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every yosho has stamina that depletes throughout the fight, so THE mORE STAmINA YOU HAVE, THE mORE POWERFUL YOUR ATTACKS!!!!!!!!!!!

12 DEF - The enemy yosho has a defense stat just like YOUR YOSHO HAS AN ATTACK STAT!!!!!!!!!!!

4 - This is the total damage AFTER ALL THE CALCULATIONS. It will always truncate, and NEVER ROUND UP!!!!!!!!!!
