Like anywhere else in the world, there would still be people who could find them, but it would be a lot more difficult. And that only goes for traditional criminals. Mass shooter overwhelmingly tend to be people who either acquired their guns legally or (in cases like Sandy Hook and Columbine) got them from someone who did. People like Harris and Klebold and Adam Lanza are not the kind of people who are acquainted with the criminal underground, and the people who are tend not to be the people shooting up schools.

Problem is, in the short term, there’s still a hell of a lot of guns out there. If they were to outlaw guns entirely then law abiding citizens would be at a huge disadvantage for a long time.

I mean, if I were making an argument in the subject of global warming, for example, I would want to be sure that I was familiar with all terms, scientific findings, etc to feel like I can make a valid argument or not. I mean, my original point wasn’t that I think any should or should not be banned. To be clear, I’m not even anti-second amendment. I was just pointing out that the spirit of the argument the guy was trying to make wasn't invalidated simply by arguing semantics.

I wish people would show all the truths with gun violence. Not just some shitty graph trying to show how bad it is or how only white extremists commit mass shootings. It's all total bullshit. They should just give everybody a gun and then kill anyone who uses it for anything but self defense; I bet it would weed out a lot of shit heads or stop shooters before they could get a messy.
