Under the Skin is great because it shows evil however organized is born of fear. A retreat, then lost in itself. Emerging from that is glorious, wonderful, especially having never known otherwise. Born into it. Doing the right thing is at cost to yourself. Seeing a world that does right humbled evil in the movie. Courage won, empathy won. Some freedom may be all that's needed for someone to be able to choose right. Able to choose always choosing right.

Under the Skin's glory could be explained as a fish who uses a light to lure in fish, cutting it from them to rescue a fish. Then seeing the brilliant creatures around them. Swimming to the surface (to escape something like itself seeing it alone venreble as evidence against it), going and getting there unable to survive. Having to be made to, or being made again because that is now it's soul. What it will always do and will get there, will belong there.
