Hey Yea Forums I bought weed for the first time. I got half an ounce of this stuff for $100 in an illegal state...

>Nah you don't get withdrawals from weed
I'm choosing to define withdrawals as negative effects caused by not smoking. Idk if defining that as withdrawals is right, but that's what I mean
>You don't get physically addicted to weed.
I know. That's what I said.

Regardless, people do get dependant on the substance and will often abuse it. I've personally heard of increased irritability, cold sweats and loss of appetite. I get that weed is possibly the safest substance you could use, but there are points where people should consider if they're smoking too much too often

lol u dont know shit

Withdrawals imply physical addiction, like you physically crave a cigarette or a cup of coffee. I know people get dependant but not from physical addiction.

I'm a daily smoker and have been for years.

Weed is for losers but you did get some pretty good bud here, for a good price. If you continue to buy be careful because this is a common tactic of drug dealers. Give you good/plentiful shit the first few times and then will start selling you shit/shorting you on the amount. Buy a little digital scale to make sure you're actually getting an oz every time you buy. Hide that shit well cause if you get busted by the cops with it, especially with a full oz, they might hit you with distribution charges

Lmfao Oregon has more weed than can be smoked in several years, no shit it’s just free someplaces

Cravings are psychological, no matter the substance. Weed cravings are a real thing too.
Physical addiction is attributed how the body itself is affected, i.e. the detoxing addict experiencing painful cramping

What I'm saying is there's no "craving" for weed the same way there are cravings for caffeine and nicotine, they are not the same. People can get psychologically addicted to pretty much anything, picking their nose, pulling their own hair out etc etc etc, assuming that weed just overtakes your brain and makes you crave more is bullshit. I am a daily smoker but when I do things like go on holiday I do not miss cannabis at all, if I tried to do this with coffee I would get headaches, feel irritable and such, this absolutely does not happen with Cannabis and anyone telling you otherwise is either misinformed and/or retarded.

Dont do this bs, just smoke

I think the issue here is that there's a lack of perspective. I believe that YOU don't experience any of this, but claiming that no one does is blatantly wrong. You're able to practise moderation, and have other things going for you in life, so you're not as vulnerable to cannabis abuse as others might be.

This guy used to be a poly-addict, and he considers weed to be one of his early addictions, because he abused the fuck out of it

I do not experience any withdrawals and if there were any I would have noticed them by now in the 6 odd years I've been a daily smoker.

So there are people out there that get more addicted to the way weed makes them feel but those people are more likely to be addicted to anything, if they weren't smoking weed they'd be gambling, drinking regularly, picking their nose etc, the damage caused is very little compared to those other vices.

>poly-addict
Sounds like an excuse to be a fucking loser.

>and he considers weed to be one of his early addictions
Who fucking cares? I don't buy the gateway argument one bit, I bet he was gaming 10 hours a day or drinking tons of energy drinks way before he even tried a joint. Is it the fault of the drug for existing or him having absolutely no willpower in the first place?
