No it isn't lol it depends on the drug and delivery mechanism, type of drug, genotype, your hydration levels, and a bunch of other shit.
Taking a bunch of tablets to off yourself can fail spectacularly but if you do it with capsules of the same drug you may die in only a few hours, or the same drug with a different delivery mechanism, or if you're asian and you lack certain liver enzymes, or if you're black with a genetic variant that makes your kidneys retarded.

Do you mean overdose as in a death inducing overdose? Or just an overdose as in a dose that causes substantial adverse effects? Also, serotonin syndrome is an awful thing to go through

It’s very hard to overdose on the newest generation of anti-depressants, which is a large part of the reason they are prescribed so freely. Take enough of them, and you will likely give yourself a case of serotonin syndrome, which is unpleasant, involves disorientation and diarrhea, and is no guarantee of ending your life. Instead of taking your supply and shitting your pants, just find a therapist to help you work through your issues, OP. Then the old you will die, and a better version of you gets to lead a long and happy life.

You're better off playing chemist - find some strong helium or make some. Then huff it until you fall asleep. It's the gentlest way to go, and leaves the least mess.
If you REALLY want to be polite, take some of that liquid anti-constipation stuff they give you for a colonoscopy. After being sufficiently cleaned out, you can then kill yourself and not leave a giant turd in your pants for some poor sap to clean up. Having your clothes you want to be buried/creamated in neatly folded by you and a note also makes things a lot easier. I know my past 3 suicides I had to clean up for, I found one of them incredibly decent having studied it.
So if you're gonna do it, just do it. I don't want you to, but it's not about me. What makes *you* happy? What's *your* path of least resistance? What even matters to *you?*
