98 civic

buy used, go for...

-for gas-
buick (reliable)
honda (spendy to buy, spendy to fix)(reliable, hold value)
-cheap to fix-
older chevy/ford truck

stay away from Chrysler, Audi, BMW, VW, Suburu unless you have the money to fix when inevitably something breaks.

its common knowledge that fiats are trash, and are broken when you buy them.

if your image means everything to you, you wont go into ridiculous debt buying a Mercedes or some other luxury car. you would look buy an 01 jag or something manageable.

btw this and last 2 replies are me

My first car was a Toyota Blade no one cared so image isn't everything.

What do you even need a car for? Do you live in the wilderness?

Honda or Toyota anything really, both are reliable, recommend a standard transmission

>> Not posting on /o/

This depends if you want to work for your car. What's your budget?

Also no. Would not recommend a Miata... yet.

Same, well not same 1st car but in school chicks only seemed to care that I had a car and not what it was (84 mustang)

Has to be automatic. Don't have time for stickshit when I'm drunk

does posting on /b seem wrong? I mean it is pretty random , or supposed to be. mostly porn nowadays

I'd argue I drive better drunk in a standard than in an automatic , just know the feel better and can compensate

I don't know. Why would you ask in random when they're is a board dedicated to cars and not porn?
I can't figure this out.

>Suburu unless you have the money to fix when inevitably something breaks
subaru literally proven to be the most reliable car manufacturer in the past 20 years

commercial s never lie

Thanks guys for the recommendations. And i posted on Yea Forums cause i trust my Yea Forumsros.

There are more sources of info out there than the, you know?

Clearly your OP pic is in the right direction. Mercedes-Benz will get some form respect in all walks of life, unless they're some sort of fucking zoomer hipster.
Curious to hear what your budget is. But honestly, a current C-class or E-class coupe is a very affordable way to be someone to look up to.

What your dad told you about what cars are good stopped being right 25 years ago

Do Americans really drive drunk or is it just a meme?

>taking the word from someone who doesn't even know how to spell 'commercials'
yeah I think OP will be really curious to hear what you have to say.

Like the other user implied, there are numerous impartial studies on the subject, and in pretty much all Subaru comes in as a top contender. Unlike your image of the 'suburu' which is clearly based on hearsay among the retard community.

one that drives itself, anything else is plebian

Shitty people in your shitty country drive drunk too

>recommending a jag after a tirade of reliability

Well most of what you said is wrong so good to know

lol

Tons of people do. Good ones dont get caught

How was commercials misspelled? lol

there's a space in between of the letters that make up the word! lol

You're one pathetic petty fag lol

A budget and what country you're in might help us recommend stuff... Faggot

Mx5 gt prht or mx5 fastback.
Most fun daily car under 35k new. Wont do anything for your image though.
Hydraulic steering, 6 speed manual, rear wheel drive. 2k pounds. Electric hard top. Suspension intended for turning. Heated leather seats.

>that car people would respect?
why do you care so much what other people think?

Well I did graduate high school, so I can see how that feels like an intimidating stretch for you.

My first car was an 06 taurus SE.
That thing was a great first car, and the engine kicked some serious ass for a sedan, outside if gas mileage. I loved the hell out of it and drove the hell out of it.
I recommend that if you can find one with low enough mileage. Gotta watch that transmission if you drive it too hard though. I learned the hard way that just because it can go fast when you hit the gas doesn't mean it was made to be floored every time you hit the gas.

>I can see how that feels like an intimidating stretch for you.
What in the fuck are you even talking about lol

hehe yes lol amirite

You're not actually all there in the head are ya

>that car people would respect
Holy shit, be a man, user. You don't gauge a car purchase on your perception of others' opinions.
