options for scaling, formatting, reading direction, skins, how many pages load on opening a chapter, all sorts of stuff! the downside is that i needed to make an account for it to remember to keep the dark skin on
the first time i read it was on mangakakalot, but that reader is kinda cumbersome imo
the other reader i'd recommend is dynasty scans, you can find kase-san on there too and it's pretty simple but nice

they can't rely much on spectacle, so all the focus is on the characters... which i think is the most interesting part of any story!
i guess it doesn't advance the plot much, but it does a great job of digging into walter's state of mind and his relationship with jesse at that point in the story, so yeah i agree!
the witch is quite good as well! very slow and tense... the only issue with it as a horror movie for me is that i've never found witches very scary as a concept, but it does deliver amazing atmosphere

i've always viewed breaking bad as more of a character driven show, particularly as a character study of walter, so it not advancing the plot didn't really bother me

i don't think they ought to be scary! i'll just say the historical roots of the modern conception of witches are pretty messed up, so i think it would be better if they just weren't villainized anymore, but that's just me... one thing i liked about the witch was the way it played with some of those ideas and how women have historically been viewed, it's very much ripe for many readings about the gender politics that the myth of the witch has its roots in... it really knows its 'lore', both in the myths around witches and the historical reality that informed them
i remember cosmopolis being the most high-profile thing when he was trying to move away from twilight, but i think he's still edward for lots of people... at least until these movies come out, i'm sure!
it's visually breathtaking, that's one non-action/spectacle movie i'd love to see in theaters!
yeah, i can see that as well, i mean things can get more personal which can be nice, but also intimidating at times, and there's no one else to bounce off of... the only thing i'd say is that in many ways the convos in the thread are also pretty one-on-one, since we tend to address each other directly and not reference surrounding conversations that often
