How is japan such a successful country despite everything they've been through?

Probably the instillation of work ethic and good morals at a young age. Children are taught respect and responsibility starting in elementary school. For example, students work together to clean their school, instead of janitors. It is somewhat Confucian, but it works.

Japan also didn't cave into left wing progressvism and trade in the good things by compromising their culture with forced diversity. That being said, Japan is far from perfect, but still a hell of a lot better than most of the world.

No such thing as a perfect country, every nation has its own unique issues. That doesn't disqualify it from being successful though; considering all they've been through so recently.

Yet it is a first world country. Meanwhile we have fat spics crawling to the US border screaming about gangs that their own kin created.
