So I have asthma Yea Forums and I’ve been skinny all my life. Everybody I know with asthma has been skinny or at least regular sized my entire life. When you have asthma you don’t get enough oxygen to your muscles so it makes sense your body would keep off as much weight and fat as possible because you’re not getting enough oxygen. So why the fuck to the symptoms for asthma say it causes weight gain? The symptoms for almost everything says whatever you have caused weight gain. Do the people who diagnose these symptoms not know what the fuck they’re doing or do they just want to associate fat with anything that isn’t healthy. They say smoking makes you fat when it causes you to lose weight. I don’t know what this bullshit propaganda is but these god damn drug companies need to stop saying every illness makes you fat. For all I know when I start treating my asthma I’ll actually put on healthy weight and not be a skinny bitch boy because my muscles and body are getting enough oxygen to actually grow and I haven’t treated it because the bullshit symptoms say having it causes you to gain weight when in reality it makes you not able to gain any weight.

>tfw fat and have asthma

why don't u just workout u fucking pussy and stop making excuses for this and that. I only read 1/8 of what u said and already I can tell u don't push urself

u prolly have cystic fibrosis

Dont worry, corticoides makes you fat en a few years...

Because I always feel weak naturally and have a shortness of breath and I still work out you retarded Donald Duck bitch. That doesn’t change the fact that I’m not getting the best results I could be getting once I start treating my condition.

2/2
The point is I purposely didn’t treat it all these years because of false bullshit advertising that treating it could help you lose weight when it’s exactly the opposite. Treating my condition actually will help me gain weight faster.

I have a friend who is fat and has diagnosed asthma now. your letting op

That sounds pretty shitty tbh, you doing anything about it

They probably don’t actually have asthma. They probably can’t breathe because they’re lugging around all that weight. Thin people usually actually have it.

...

that weakness you're feeling is from lack of magnesium. take some extra supplements. albuterol can deplete your magnesium levels.

i've been taking 400mg every night, i don't feel mostly dead anymore.

400mg of magnesium from assorted supplements.*

I’ve been taking it. I learned about that a long time ago. I’m pretty sure my shortness of breath all the time is from me having asthma and the weakness I feel if from my blood not getting enough oxygen.

add some d3 too. i try to take at least 8,000iu each day. helps with absorption or someshit.
idk dude. everything is fucked up. doctors are nothing but insurance puppets anymore. shit needs to change.

Try N-Acetyl-cysteine (NAC) I know loads of people who use it for breathing problems, stinks fuckin awful so get the capsule ones if you can

Third fat asthmatic blubbering in.
Diagnosis at the specialists was pretty conclusive. Fatbreath doesn't get triggered by smoke and animal dander et cetera.

Your acute asthma attacks are not really going to cause any significant reduction in overall body O2 concentration for saturation for a period of time appropriate to induce hypoxia let alone stunt growth retard

>didn’t treat asthma
Riight so your ‘if severe enough lethal’ bouts of bronchospasm and excessive mucous production just sorted themselves out did they?

Your assessment is interesting but nothing about it is in anyway clinically relevant not is it even correct

>it makes sense your body would keep off as much weight and fat as possible because you’re not getting enough oxygen

Thats not how biology works. But most likely, people with asthma exercise less so end up gaining weight. And yes, being fat is bad for your health.

Not getting enough Oxygen would manifest itself in the much more obvious, death

God damn kid tl;dr. Absolute pussy.

Eat more. You'll gain weight. Has literally nothing to do with oxygen or metabolism.
EAT MORE.

Lifting weights requires almost no oxygen. Stop making excuses

Proper weight lifting most definitely has a high oxygen requirement

Sounds more to me that your inability to put on weight is due to an overall poor drug compliance on your end, if you’re not taking your meds then of course you’re going to be unable to breathe and therefore work out

>almost has NOTHING to do with oxygen or metabolism

This has got to be some of the dumbest shit I’ve ever heard.

Not OP but you try eating more than 7k calories a day just to gain a TINY amount of weight. You fumbfuck normies who only have to eat 3-4K calories a day have life at baby bitch mode and you’re telling other people “ohhh just eat more pussy” when it’s not that easy.

Okay so what’s youre extremely specific condition to which this advice isn’t valid then?

I have asthma and 3~4kcal/day made me obese just fine.
What are you doing wrong?
