Who wins
>Infinite plane, no geographical features
>Each marine has a flamethrowers with infinite fuel, melt and breakdown proof
>Friendly fire is OFF
>Ants only goal is to kill Marines, they don't dig
>Neither team sleeps, eats, drinks, goes to the bathroom, or ages
>NEITHER TEAM EVOLVES OR MUTATES OR BUILDS SO FUCK OFF WITH THAT THIS TIME
Who wins
Under those conditions, 16 marines to cover all angles with the flamethrower would be enough to eventually kill any imaginable number of ants.
I think it highly depends on the concentration of both and their spacial location
If the marines encircled by the ants, marines lose
Otherwise they can just hit and run the ants and eventually win
What about the psychological implications? Do you think they have the willpower to kill ants for billions of years? They'd want to die eventually and let the ants kill them
Marines crushed to death by tidal wave of ants that reaches low earth orbit. Eventually as the ants kept advancing their charred remaines would entirely encase the Marines and suffocate thenlm
Grams number is so big that the ants would easily cover and suffocate the marines. A googleplex is nothing compared to grams number.
Graham's number is much larger than many other large numbers such as Skewes' number and Moser's number, both of which are in turn much larger than a googolplex. As with these, it is so large that the observable universe is far too small to contain an ordinary digital representation of Graham's number, assuming that each digit occupies one Planck volume, possibly the smallest measurable space. But even the number of digits in this digital representation of Graham's number would itself be a number so large that its digital representation cannot be represented in the observable universe. Nor even can the number of digits of that number—and so forth, for a number of times far exceeding the total number of Planck volumes in the observable universe.
What fucking kind of autism is this ? Use your brain power to do something usefull or accomplishing you fucking retard instead of making up autistic fantasy so fucking autistic that you have to state even more abritary rules cause apparently your last attempt went to shit
go back to >>>r/eddit
the marines would get so bored they'd kill themselves long before killing even 0.0000000001% of the ants
I wish I could think of a number so big that people named it after me!
Also ants win through superior mass
Their combined mass collapses into a black hole. There is no winner.
>Graham's number
this
Whoever wins, we lose
If EDF has taught me anything; it's that marines win.
It would be a Pyrrhic victory because that many ants would also be choked and smothered to death by their own numbers.
Actually, would at a far smaller number than Graham's Number, or even googolplex.
The correct answer is
>no one wins

Infinite plane retard
ants, too many of them in contrast, the corpses of ants would eventually just suffocate all the marines by sheer mass
The numbers are so large they couldnt make sense. Eventually most of them would starve to death unless they set up logistics on said infinite plane to sustain the unreal numbers. If they ants only cared about killing they would all starve to death in short order
The result is completely dependent on the starting positioning of the sides. Are the ants evenly spread out over the infinite plane, slowly approaching the marines who burn them at an even pace, or are the ants an unstoppable mountain that engulfs everything it comes across?
