I knew Freddy Mercury for a bit. He was a pretty chill dude. Didn't talk a lot. Kept to himself. Not nearly as flamboyant as that last movie portrayed him to be.
Also knew George Carlin and traveled with him for a few months. He was an asshole. Not like an 'evil' asshole, just really blunt. He knew what he wanted and expected to get it. He said thank you when he got it, and yelled at you if he didn't. His personality had no comedic value off stage. He just wasn't a funny guy off stage. It was jarring.
