Pretty much what I do.

Tried computer/tablet reading, but i still prefer books. I guess I stare at screens enough that I'd rather not if I don't have to.

Paper books will always be the way to go. I do have a 2nd gen kindle that is okay but if you consume books like I do, even the digital versions can become expensive. I started buying books used on amazon for a fraction of the new or digital versions. Thrift stores are always fun to browse for books as well.

I usually want brand new books, but have found book thrift stores pretty nice. Maybe someday I can own the 1st edition, but for now i just want to read it.

Yeah, same here. Looking to try and change things up, but still stay comfy. Dont need a 5 bedroom 3 bath house, just a tiny house near some water to come home too.

I have a similar idea myself but sadly I wasted all my saved money so now I have to work again from scratch. But yeah let's see how things turn out. Maybe this time things will change and I will not fuck it up again (hopefully)
