We get them a lot, but typically only briefly. They tend to just be cycled through the prisons until they eventually get sent back over the border

Opinion on the Texas 7. Was it a good escape plan? Are there better procedures to ensure this doesn't happen again?

Most of the escapes are purely employee fault - someone didn't do their job right. But the Texas 7 escape was incredibly well thought out, moving that large of a group in an escape is not easy to do in our maximum security prisons. The procedures are always scrutinized for ways to better prison security, but at the end of the day it can almost always be blamed on correctional officer negligence.

I assume TDCJ is independent from county level facilities so this question might not be up your alley, but do you know how I'd go about finding inmate/trial info about someone currently in jail? Specifically in Tarrant County if it matters.

His last trial resulted in a mistrial, but there is like ZERO information about it, either under Tarrant public records or anywhere on google. I managed to find where he was being held and his charges under an inmate listing, but no other specifics. What I really want to know is when he's going to trial next.

Hoping I don't have to go down to the courthouse to find out or get lucky checking the dockets every week.
