This movie was marketed all wrong, which is why I kept hearing it was a disappointment. It was a good post apocalyptic, paranoia film. Not horror at all though.

Hey everybody, just reporting in after watching Aterrados, which someone recommended in the first thread. Was well made, had a couple of fun spoops in it, but the ending and lack of any story or explanation to everything just made it kind of meh in my book. Still, would recommend as a good B- tier horror flick

Its more of a thriller. Most horror themed thing about are those creepy nightmare sequences, which there aren’t that many of.

It felt like there was actually a way out. Instead of "this is ghost. Ghost wants revenge. You cannot outsmart ghost", they were dealing with other people. I also liked the whole Dark Web aspect. There were a few things that left me scratching my head because they didn't add up, but it was still interesting to watch

that reminds me of "vile". it's kind of like "saw" except they're trapped and have to hurt themselves because they have machine attached to them to extract a chemical that only comes out when they're in terror/agony and whoever is keeping them requires a specific amount of it, with timers, etc and if they provide enough they can go free. the chemical is turned into a drug so that rich people can shoot it up and get thrills.
