Are some electro-mechanical engineering workers here?

No, but I can store and transmit electricity through my own body.

Please demonstrate

I make big cums and do drugs, how can I help you sir?

sure why not

I am an electrical engineer. I work on small circuits for cars, but maybe I can help.

No, no, I do not need help. I was interested in whether there are also useful people here, nothing more.

Jep. I'm into automation and drives.

Me too, but I'm currently sick and at home and bored. Damn, I miss the workshop!

i work at burger king but i'm pretty smart. what do you need to know?

Yeah, I've done some large-scale phase converters, for oil fields or manufacturing plants.

Here is a slightly older model

FYI that's an improper use of a Clevis if MSHA was present they would be getting a hefty SS ticket

Slightly older Ha that is a dinosaur

im about to enter in the industrial engineer manager career, any advices?

We do much worse things, sometimes;

Same here.
Learned in a repair shop for all electro-mechanical machines. Motors, transformers, generators, but only smaller machines. The biggest motor we had in the shop had 600 kW.

Then switched over to the automation business, and now mostly doing software.

Yes. You need Vaseline and forget your manners and your modesty.

Oh I hear you brother lol

Are you trying to save that bearing? Just cut the bearing apart and carefully cut the inner race

why?

Much quicker and safer for the winding to use a flame and heat it up instead of using a grinder.

Sometimes we are barbarians!
(We do not save bearings, we always change.)

Nice trips

And I prefer to use a torch

Attached: arbeit-als-arschkriecherei.jpg (370x505, 56K)

I think he’s asking why then would you take the time to heat it and remove it in this fashion.

The company I work for we trash any motor less than a 100hp they say it's not worth the money to have them rebuilt

I think the point is that you arnt using a torch, you’re using
>>Heat
>>Bearing puller
>>Pry bar
>>Jack handle on ratchet
>>At least 2 people + 1 taking these pictures.

>industrial engineer manager career
oh, i see :(

There are so many funny tools when you are working with eletrical machines.

All kinds of flamable materials, hydraulic presses, liquid nitrogen, ...

Most of the time this method works very well and very fast. In this department we have all kinds of heat and in addition very stare hydraulic pullers.
And we are very strong too.
We are affectionate only with windings.

Those look like Wag motors do you work for Wag

> + 1 taking these pictures.
We have many apprentices and trainees, so we need a lot of photos. Our boss attaches great importance to education.
Yes, correct. And the special smell in the workshop. Ohh, how I miss that smell now.

We work for many companies, including the railway. Bad are only machines from the food industry.
Meat and fat is sticking from the last 10 months, it is vomiting!
But that is probably the punishment for our sins on machines.

I got myself one of those also its just a 300hp mine's just a little dirty

>just a little dirty
Dust and dirt does not bite.

i played with lego as a child so i'm some kind of engineer too. ask me anything?

Sounds pretty legit

>engineer too
I'm not an engineer. Not yet.
