Why do my eyes?

Do you hate niggers

Because they see

I don't, but I must admit they smell more cause they sweat more

You look at the tits when they lean forward into the eyeball examining thingy?

Once they did the pressure test where they numb your eyes and push that thing in a stick against it. Afterwards they left the room a moment I was fucking with it and I think I bent it.

How much $ of damage did I cause?

What does it mean when the moon hits my eye like a big pizza pie?

I don't

Annual salary? Own a practice?

why aren't you a real doctor?

It can bent to a certain point so maybe no damage at all

Working in a eye practice (not my own)
Making 5000€ atm

No I’m pretty sure I bent the stick it was on

What is a real doctor for you?

Thinnest contacts for astigmatism? Would love to wear contacts daily but can really feel the contact is my left eye due to astigmatism and it being thicker

OK then you have to replace the metal stick but not the head. Idk exactly how much but maybe like 30 bucks for sure. Medical instruments can be expensive even if it's just a metal stick

There are tons of different contacts. Go see an optician who has experience. He can check your eye surface and can give you the one best for your eyes

Why can't i focus with my left eye as well as I can with my right? I don't notice it when I'm just looking around/reading with both eyes open but when I try reading with only my left eye it's significantly slower. Weird

I did, just got them last week

She gave me Acuvue oasys hydra luxe daily’s, said there’s nothing I can do about the astigmatism and just have to put up with it RIP

Thanks anyways man

Maybe one eye is different in terms of the diopter. There is a thing called anisometropia. This is one explanation of a few that could cause this

Yes the oasys are very good and up to date. How much diopter you got with the astigmatism?

How much can eyesight get worse in time? Wearing glasses for 4 years now and have the feeling that my eyesight got worse, did they fuck up my perscription or is it natural for eyesight to decay in time?

Depends on how old you are and what kind of problem you have. I assume you are short sighted, means you see blurry in the far distance? How much diopter do you have and how old r u?

OP here. Im looking at a patient now be back in like 10 minutes. Keep the thread alive if you wish

-1.25 on both eyes. I'm 27, even though my eyesight started to get worse around puberty, but I was just a stupid idiot for not wanting to wear glasses at the time.

When i go get my eyes checked why do you add drops of some liquid into my eyes what makes my vision totally blurry and cant see shit for a few hours after i had to look into that bright light? What liquid is that?

Are my eyes bad from being blue, being on the water too much (cuz sun Ray's reflect), or from starting at a TV screen too much.. or all of the above. My eyes get shittier every year

Asian with chronic dry eyes, which eye surgery would help alleviate dryness.

Oh. Ok, thanks.

Honestly not sure what it is, maybe it says it on my contacts
One at the top of the pic are astigmatised

Not the OP, but I think they are dilating your pupils. Not sure why tho

Do you believe it was the evolution of the eye that led to the Cambrian explosion?

How can I know if I need glasses or not?
Since I spend most of my time in front of a computer, I can't focus distant objects (more than 10 meters away) as well as I used to, but I can still see them
Can I regain my vision if I reaccustome myself to focus at distant objects?

I use poppers and sometimes my eyes hurt after using them can i go blond from this shit? Also what can i do to lower my intraorbital eye pressure?

bump to keep it alive

Just do a break infront of your computer with relaxing your eyes. You know when it all gets blurry. Just relax the eyes from time to time and you can still see the mouse cursor anyway

Am I going to die?

If or you if not wear glasses does not effect your eye to get worse. The glasses would have not stopped the process.

When I put the drops in I can check all of your eye because your pupils are larger. Think of a room you want to check whats inside. You can only look into a keyhole. Nothing much to see. Open the door with eye drops and you see every little inch

Is there anything that can be done against floaters? Sometimes it is very annoying to have all these tiny dust grains in view.

Your eye sight cant get worse from that. But over excessive smartphone or reading in general can benefit your myopia progression slightly

Whats the best contacts for dry eyes

Myopia and astigmatism. But not very high luckily

This is correct

Check at an optician and do a professional vision test

Use special eye drops prescription by the eye doc

Do these drops contain cocaine?

This is not a perfect way to check vision problems but relaxes the eyes a little bit

Can't do anything about them just ignore them and the brain won't see them so much

EYE EYE MR SAMURI GREEN BLACK AND BLUE ARE THE COLORS OF MI EYE

My right eye sometimes gets sore and red. I saw an ophthalmologist and he diagnosed iritis. Gave me some steroid drops. Went away but still comes back. I saw him again when it was bad and he said no signs of iritis at that time. He didn't have any ideas/suggestions.

What the fuck do I have OP? It pisses me off, can't live with it for another 30+ years.

OP here. Again gone for 15 min

Ok, thanks. :/

What’s myopia?
Googled it and it seems to be another word for short sightedness? Yeah I only need/wear my glasses for lectures and driving or if I’m watching a movie on a small tv that’s across a room

5000/what? Month?

i've get sporadic 'flashing white dots' that grab my attention in my vision, that last about a second like lightening. i've had it for a few years but my vision seems fine(got laser eye surgery last year)

eye doctor said it was nothing, maybe my brain. anyone else ?

Bump to keep alive

Yes you are short sighted

Yes

White dots are nothing to worry about. Black rain or black walls that are in your sight are dangerous and should be checked immediately. Also lightning in your vision can be dangerous too

Damn, I would suggest to see another eye doc then. Kind of odd. Maybe it is just a dry eye. Tons of people have this problem. Try using moisturizing
eye drops In the meantime. Use it 5 to 6 times a day. Don't be scared to use it often, you can not overdose them

the flash is like lightening, and i'm not talking about those white blood cells that you may see when walking outside looking up(i think they are white blood cells?)

but the flashes of these appearing dots mimics lightening, it doesn't flash my entire vision though just the dot itself that is variable in shape

Oasys like the other user mentioned or use hard lenses instead of soft lenses

Chronic dry eyes. Go see a eye doc who is a specialist for dry eye treatment. There are a few options for you if normal moisturizing eye drops don't work for you.

Do you still see the lightning with eyes closed?

Actually I saw an optometrist before that guy and I think she mentioned something about the tear duct. Can anything be done to fix that? Like surgery or two something? It started a few years ago

Hey doc is it risky to get a second PRK? Thanks

Attached: 1563677368858m.jpg (980x1024, 120K)

not sure, i've never experienced them with eyes closed.

also sometimes i might get a 'wisp', same flashing dot, it'll come into vision, make a turn then disappear, like the white blood cells just much more noticable. hopefully i find out.

Can you post a photo of the eye? Hard to tell what's going on. Also got yellow fluid coming out of the eyelid?

No, it shouldn't be a problem

Is it true that my vision will get worse when I spend too much time using my phone in the dark? Or is it just an urban myth?

Strange vision problems like these can't be diagnosed via chat. If the doc checked your eyes with dilatation of the pupil and found nothing (no retina detachment or retina hole) you should be fine tho

Ive recently been diagnosed with strabismus and mixed (seemingly absent imo) ocular dominance. Can an eye patch help? My doctor's at the VA literally won't tell me anything and usually just ignore any questions I have. I had to grab the most recent one I visited by the arm and shout to get them to tell me what was wrong.

It can be actually bad but only if you do it over excessively. It benefits the progression of short sightedness

What do you do for a living?

How old are you? Strabism has very different forms and shapes. Need some more information

Against black surfaces or blue sky I see like static from TV, is it dangerous ?

Do you recommend fish oil? I have blepharitis and am prone to styes

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't short-sightedness is genetically linked?

Belladonna
(from toxic plant)

28. Didn't notice it until I was 24-25, had PRK when I was 22.

I like to spunk in my girl's eyes. How many years did you have to go to school for?

what does it mean if there's TV static in my eyes that i can only see if im looking for it, but is painfully obvious if im looking at a dark surface

Since you’ve confirmed you’re an eye cuck I’ll proceed to deeper questioning. What’s the worst shit you enjoy here? You act like a good guy in your comments, give me the fuckin dirt.

Optometrist or ophthalmologist?

I have floaters, but recent;ly have seen something new and persistent: a very tiny perfect donut, best seen when looking at a blank background. It's too small for me to tell if I can see through the hole, so dunno if it's white or transparent. What could that be?

whyeverything looks a bit blurrier than normal lately?

That's amore.

I'll take the access exam to be a medical resident in a few months. Convince me to be an Ophthalmologist too.

Can be a genetic component yes but not just genetic

You have doublevision?

My wife has astigmatism which seems to be getting worse. Just got a new prescription but had to have thicker lenses. She had a reaction to these and couldn't wear them. Eye doctor said thinner ones just won't work for her condition but has given her some anyway.

What are the chances of fixing her with a laser? Does it actually really honestly work well for astigmatism or not? Laser surgery salesman said yes (whilst rubbing his hands together and counting the sheckles). Actual eye doctor said laser surgery is not always a good option for astigmatism. What's the deal? Maybe she should just get some fucking glasses.

No cocain but there are cocain drops for special diagnosis procedures. Can't make you high tho

Probable higher intake of intoxicants lately.

Can help slightly but won't cure this shit. Don't give a fortune for stuff like that. Try out diffrent blepharitis ointments

10 years med school

Some people see the "reflection" of the circulation of the blood in the eye vessels. Nothing to worry about. Ignore it

I find the rekt shit interesting. So strange how some people die in accidents and stuff.

thank u doc

i used to also see white splotches that would move around and block out shit when i looked at paper but it went away i think

I'm an ophthalmologist

Floaters are protein parts in your eye and can be all shapes and sizes. Nothing to worry about

A million possibilities for that question. Need more info

Encouraging. Thanks.

First of all I need to know what her diopter is. Has she a eye sickness combined with the astigmatism? Something like Keratokonus?

I used to just have fucked up eyes (-4.5/-8.8, some astygmatism in both eyes, different amounts) but now I find I can't see so well at close range and I guess I need bifocals.
Thing is, I like contacts. Are there solutions for that these days?

How old are you?

Gone for another 10 to 15 min. Need to look at patients real quick

I once started a workday and noticed every point of light (streetlights, e.g.) was covered by a black splotch right where the light was. So looking down the street I'd see a splotch on every light, all identically shaped but sized varying in size with the brightness of the light. The splotches all shrunk to nothing within a few hours, but sure gave me the creeps. Any ideas?

Yes

>Thinnest contacts for astigmatism?
I'm and I wear contacts, not every day but I could.

I used to have rigid gas permeable and those were not comfortable for long periods, sometimes even for short ones.
Now I wear disposables and they're fine, I forget I'm wearing them and go swimming. They're absolutely not a problem unless you have something else wacky going on.
I'm not but that's the same brand I use on one of my eyes, mine are way worse though.

mid 40s

Have you ever been played by a patient with an undisclosed glass eye?

I have no idea what several of those words mean. And she is currently at work so can't help.

She is quite pretty but small breasts if that helps?

Somehow I see worse with my current glasses, doc told me it's because my previous glasses were too strong but I liked beeing able to see things from afar precisely, especially at night. Is it really better for the eye to have weaker glasses if it means I can't see very good from afar?

>Have you ever been played by a patient with an undisclosed glass eye?
It would be super obvious, I'm not sure an optometrist would even need to look closely.

Old fag. Though not necessarily oldfag.

Why does one of my eyes point slightly off? I see everything pretty clearly with both of them

Both tbh

>Save Dusty

I have never worn glasses or contacts and haven't had an eye test for 20 years. How do I know I have good vision? I think I see everything that the human eye is capable of seeing but maybe I'm missing stuff. I don't have anything to compare it to as I see what I see and don't see what I don't see. How do I know I'm fucking perfect? Maybe I'm shit. How do I know what I don't know, user? How?

Is it just my optometrist or do all of you guys have the weakest grips ever? I shook his hand on my first time with him and I legitimately thought he injured his arm in the war or some shit

Favorite eye color?

Yeah you need glasses for reading by now. Gets worse because you get older. Your eye lens doesn't work so perfect anymore because it gets stiffer. Would recommend lenses if you wish for far and for close range reading glasses that you can use with the lenses

Odd. Can not tell you what that was. If there is no problem any longer, good for you

Hmm it could be a decompensated latent squint. Nothing live threatening. I would recommend to see an orthoptist (not an optometrist and not an optician) they usually work with eye docs together. They are squinting pros and now everything about strabism. Maybe a special kind of prism glasses can help or a squint surgery can help. Be sure to see an orthoptist

Can you read street signs from like 50+ m away? If so probably better than 20/20 like me.

Has she any kind of known eye disease or just astigmatism? Is the astigmatism high number? Like - 4 or higher?

Eye glasses are very well made at least here in Germany and do look very very realistic. They can sometimes fool you if you don't look close enough.

Which hummus is better, Israel, Lebanese or Greek?

Yes. But I can't see the ultraviolet trails of urine left by voles in a field. Even a fucking bird can see those but I can't. Why do I have worse eyes than a raptor?

Unlucky guy here. If I get lasik, will I go blind?

Depends on what diopter you have. Sometimes (dumb) opticians give customers with far sightedness glasses that are to strong. The patient gets used to it but the eyes can get worse from to strong glasses. I would need to examine you to give specific info for your own case

What do you mean by point off? Squinting?

Best to see an optician and make an professional vision test

My grip is pretty tight I guess

You'll only go blond if you use peroxide, mate.

No. Don't be scared it's going to be fine. Blindness after lasik maybe just in Africa or something

Alright guys it was fun. Sadly I have to leave the thread now. If you have more questions or want to talk about your specific problem more I am happy to help you guys. You can write me an email if you want for more information.

mybuffedemaildrei@web(dot) de

See you guys

Oh, so can I get bifocals that are plan lens for far and then something fucked up that cancels the contacts for reading?
It's weird, I could never read without glasses before but in the last year, I find I can read my phone in bed without reaching for glasses. Unfortunately, it means that I can't read other shit without peering under the lens or holding stuff back, getting old fucking sucks.

What was the education like to become an eye doc? Is it on the same level as other types of doctors (i.e 300k debt, 6-7 years schooling)

Can I get laser eye surgery with an astigmatism?

Yes, but it won't work.

Can I heal my myopia at home?

How often should I get my eyes checked

Yes, positive thinking is successful in 78% of myopia cases.

Diabetes every 2 years and if there is no problem with the eyes maybe once every 3 or 4 years

Nope it does not work

This Is not op and he lies

Yes it works to a certain degree. Please contact me via email for more questions. Have to leave the thread now. OP

How can mirrors be real if our eyes aren't real?

I see flashes of light often when I close my eyes.
Quick flashes in quick succession, it usually goes away when I open my eyes again and it's especially bad when I'm dealing with a migraine. I also have a really bad lazy eye, it doesn't drift off or anything but it's not connected to my brain right so I don't really use it.

My intraocular pressure was very slightly elevated, 23mm/hg, but I didn't have any signs of glaucoma.

Are my eyes gonna explode OP?

Attached: 1559346474350.gif (125x125, 18K)

Lol fucking lol

yo is the doc still in? I have a small crease wrinkle or some shit on my optical nerve its been like 7 years right eye see shit fucked off. what do i do homie?

OP is gone. You can ask him via email here

I wear prismatic lenses, but it hasn't helped with the eye dominance.

why are you gay?

I heard that laser eye surgery makes your eyes dry but I think I already have that problem. Should I just deal with it and just use eye drops 5ever?
Also I have astigmatism what's the best type of surgery option

Can i
