ok I translated it into english, some parts may be wrong, though:

No, sorry. I'm at work now and didn't bring the picture with me. I remember looking that up and it's a place where postcards were made.. something like that. Sttutgart is correct though, yes.

Go to reddit, the guys on r/German or r/de will be able to direct you towards people who know Sütterlin and can translate this for you.

I think it is German. Last line contains "Mit Gott" which means "with god"

The pin on the left is a "Verwundetenabzeichen" from the era from 1918 to 1936. It is a decoration dedicated to the wounded, similiar to the American Purple Heart. Saying this... Is there a leg missing?
