That's a zero fret. It was common for a long time, and a few manufacturers are starting to make it at least an option again.

Is it chambered? Mine's a 93 and it's a fucking tank, but sounds amazing.
My LPC is partially chambered. Much more balanced and the tone is still killer.

Sales guy told me it was totally solid. It weighs like 12lbs, so I believe him lol I tend to play it sitting down but it's by far the comfiest guitar I've ever played. The neck profile is perfect.

No it's completely legit. I took it apart when I got it. The headstock looked right for the year, but the inlay was a little sketchy. It's all correct though, even has the builder's indication that it's a AA top and the sig, my guitar guy also verified.
The Chinese Gibson's I've seen have multi-ply laminated bodies and the binding is incorrect, that's the main giveaway apparently
