The Institute - it's the only faction with some long term planning and also the only faction willing to push the boundries and go trough the trial and error cycle again when it comes to technology, while willing to learn from the past. Everyone else seems pretty content with the way things are.

Enclave and Caesars Legion

I personally think the Enclave has a great idea because if one of their plots had actually worked the wasteland would eventuallybe restored by a group of *pure* humans with advanced technology

Also the Legion because the safety they bring with them. if you talk to people like Cass and Raul they'll tell you the Legion keeps their caravans safe (which the NCR cant) and they have basically wiped out Raiders in their territory (which the NCR hasn't).

Another user here. No, I am not guilty of the sins of my father. But the point is that The Institute IS doing those things. The question is what price a person is willing to pay for those advancements. In my opinion, it is okay to enjoy the beneficial by-products of otherwise evil acts. The advancement is there, so we might as well use it. Since the Nazis came up, I'll note that (as you mentioned) much of their evil research led to scientific understanding and discovery. For example, we know a lot more about human ability to withstand cold and treating hypothermia because of Nazi research. Should we ignore that life-saving knowledge? I don't think so. But knowingly committing an evil act for advancement is still evil, and should be treated as such at the time it's happening.

Brotherhood of Steel under Elder Lyons, as I feel like he had the right idea for how the brotherhood should function. Helping the wasteland against the threat of the DC mutants and restoring clean water is a noble cause.

If not him, then NCR, as it’s probably one of the better hopes the wasteland has to reform into a true society. Yes, they’re corrupt, but unlike the other three, a new representative can be brought into office to replace the old one if the people vote for it. House, Caesar, and Yes Man can suck my double pronged glowing dick.

Adding onto this one for anyone who is to make the argument for Caesar and House, their problem is they die, leaving no one to properly replace them. For legion, sure you have the Legate, but he isn’t a leader in the same way Caesar is. The legion will fall after caesars death, guaranteed. As for house, you have to remember that he had only woken up when the chip was located. Who knows the strain put on his body by staying lucid. I do not include yes man in this post, as the independent faction is based around the courier, not him.
