I agree with you on that. Been smoking carts for a couple months and my lungs feel scorched at the end of the day. Never with regular herb though. I need to quit before I develop lung cancer.

I live in a med state, so i look on weed maps, google the company and stuff like that. but if you are getting them from the streets if you are in a room temp room the distillate shouldn't be super thin/move a bunch when held upside down etc.

they’ve gotten a lot better in just the past few years. Vary a lot in quality depending on the brand, but they’re convenient and discreet. If you like to het high on transatlantic flights, then I would highly recommend

yeah bro, im afraid it sounds like you are smoking a fake cart. not all carts that made on the streets are bad though. i can hold mine upside down for a couple minutes without the distillate moving.

I'd say that if u use it enough it will get u pretty high. but i prefer taking dabs out of a nectar collector. In legal states straight wax is pretty easy to find along with the nectar collector so if u can u should get the shit for that.

Not to mention that it gets u higher and it doesn't smell.

People said already but The carts are weak or bad flavor (no flavor, straight wax is best) unless you are getting 90%+ thc carts, then that shit is fire. If you don't have a med card you also can't get test results or rely on what they tell you. With wax visually you can tell if it's shit quality most of the time.

Dabbing will always win, a person with not even high tolerance can blow a half gram cart in a weekend which is probably 20-25 $. A gram of wax would last that same person 5-7 days for 30-50 $. Carts are the juul of weed and for keeping a buzz going rather than getting high.

Ive only tried them once. IMO it was pretty nice. I hit it 3 times and I was as high as if I had smoked a couple bowls. Maybe it sucks long term, I wouldn't know.

Could be your pen is outputting too much energy to the coil and burning the cotton, either that or the person filling the cart is shit at it. Illegal carts are cringe

They go by quick, your tolerance picks up quick as fuck for that strain and by the time you are finishing it you need a solid 3 hits to get the same feeling for one when you started.
