Whats the deal with facebook?
>dirty arab guy posts a video of a pizza that is cheesy
>it goes untouched for 5 hours until he is banned
Meanwhile
>post anything Nazi related
>7 day ban in less than 10 minutes
Whats the deal with facebook?
>dirty arab guy posts a video of a pizza that is cheesy
>it goes untouched for 5 hours until he is banned
Meanwhile
>post anything Nazi related
>7 day ban in less than 10 minutes
>Implying both shouldn't be banned within ten minutes
But is posted Nazi related crap REALLY as bad as pizza of the cheese kind?
Wtf that’s bath water I’d actually buy. Did he actually do this?
Real answer?
Facebook picks up key words related to "unfavorable" behavior such as "hate speech." Also, from what I understand, large websites keep databases that recognizes previously-posted pics that violate policy and/or federal law. So if that pizza had been posted before, it probably would've been an insta-ban party-van. If your Nazi shit was OC, it probably would've stayed up until someone reported you.
It wasn’t Nazi shit. It was a graphic that included Adolf Hitler and Himmler. It had no context in favor of the Nazis or Nazism
My answer still stands as a reasonable explanation, and Facebook is probably overzealous due to the political climate, and also their fearless leader's own personal viewpoints and ideaology.
What political climate in the context of that tech company has anything to do with Nazism?
No, they both should be banned though
I can't believe people are retarded enough to not understand capitalism. If you let people post nazi stuff then a lot of people will be upset with your company. It's easiest to blanket ban it all and correct the mistakes your shitty automated system makes later
The algorithm has a lot more experience banning Nazi shit then CP. That should tell you something. The AI only learns the more it's given.
>Current political climate
American media (and likely all western media, although I can't confirm) is very sensationalist, and ever since the Trump Election has been publishing stories about the "rising problems" of Neo-Nazism an White Supremacy. Since Facebook is the largest social media company in the world, it makes sense for them to respond by "cracking down on hate speech" (i.e. remove potentially-inflammatory/controversial posts).
It's silly, but then again, so are most things. Especially social media.
The last time I checked on that social network, it was plenty of fake accounts, old fakes. The new ones are banned or they are harder to set up, if you use photos of another person from direct post from IG or FB, it is recognized and you last 1 day or 2 until the AI detects it and gives you some warnings until you got completely banned. Take that as an example of the implementation of machine learning 2 years ago, now this is old news. Also you can make an account of a terrorist or a missing person (low profile, only known in your 3th world country) and not got banned until you got reported by their friend or family. I hate FB because it still doesn't work properly and Mark is busy playing hackers and cold war.
i've used a phot of a guinea pig as my FB pic for three years and never got a single warning or ban
Idk if there's any interest in this but I'm a programmer and I can explain (to some degree it's not like I have facebooks code layed out in front of me)
Cheesy pizza looks pretty similar to normal pizza to an graphic-analysis AI, Idk what you can get away with posting on Facebook but I'm sure there's porn on it somehow. But looking for nazi symbols or words if it was a video isn't very hard at all, much easier to autoban. The pizza might require a human interaction to confirm
>It was a graphic that included Adolf Hitler and Himmler.
Yeah, I'm sure your TOTALLYNOTALTRIGHT memes had nothing to do with nazis.
Fb is made from drupal. Its plug and play, the easiest site builder. A 5 year old could have made fb. Zuck didn't even change the default blue.
Because nazis are literally sub human.
Nazis and people that worship the ideology should be wiped out, like any vermin or infestation.
Preferably by artillery
You're forgetting facebook considers most shit that's right of centre Nazi related
you mean what you think Nazi shit is, like Milk lol
Theres a massive upsurge of pro nazi retoric.
Mongolia
Japan
Russia
Have pro Nazis
xDD hail honkler my fellow kekerino
>tfw i hate libturds :D
Please post examples of removed content.
Nazis should be banned or Nazi related posts
>be careful what you wish for
well clearly it took everyone 5 hours to jerk off to the video before they blew their loads and banned the guy
how is this hard?
come on user. don't get all hurr durr right wing censorship is a lieee
both google and Facebook have had to answer to congress for that shit.
it happens all the time.
don't act dumb. I know you're smarter than that
I'm not talking about what I think are Nazis, I'm talking about self identifying Nazis
I'm just curious user, I want to see what is being removed. I'm not saying it's a lie either, far right content is generally censored. When it comes to social media it's more about money than your freedom of speech. Freedom of speech didn't apply to private companies.
A'ight everyone, Show's starting.
