I am trash and my life is disintegrating. How do I pull out of this nosedive?

>Went out to some kind of punk singles valentines day event because I was lonely. >Got drunk.
>Met some cool and some less cool people. >Got falsely identified as some disturber of the peace (guess someone else looked like me?)
>Bouncer choked me out at the bar I was at because he thought I was the mystery other guy.
>I get enraged because I am drunk and I hate being falsely accused.
>Spit on bouncer.
>Bouncer drags me outside and plants my face in the sidewalk.
>Stand outside getting my bearings.
>Bouncer comes back outside and tells me I need to leave.
>I say I'm too drunk to drive.
>He forces me to leave anyway.
>I take a wrong turn because I am drunk and unfamiliar with the area.
>Pull over to pull up a map on my phone so I can get home.
>Cop pulls up.
>Fail sobriety tests.
>Get arrested.
>Spend night in jail, morning in courthouse with no one willing to explain what's happening to me.
>License suspended. Eventually get conditional so I can work. Breathalyzer in car. >Nearly a year later, job randomly decides to start background checks two weeks before my record is due to be sealed.
>Not legal to drive company van so I get fired.
>No more income. No health insurance. Live with parents. $75 left in checking account.
>26 years old and nearly bald already.
>Kill me.

What the fuck do I do?

Pic is unrelated but it's a memory I cherish and one of the few pictures I have and actually give a fuck about. I'll let you decide which one is me.

Well, you should've just slept outside. But yeah, do your parents have money they can give you? Maybe you can get a fresh start or some shit. Some place that doesn't have background checks, like McDonalds. Go to community college or something? Or just start dealing drugs.

I had a 9 to 5. I wasn't doing great but I was settled and happy. I was angling toward a pay raise and a promotion because my supervisor was leaving. My parents have already done so much for me, and now I just feel like a leech.

And believe me, I know what I should have done that night. But it's a year and a half too late now.

Oh look, people are ignoring me again, and my only suggestion in Micky Dee's. Fantastic.

I am screaming into the void.

But also I am begging for attention by expressing my despair.

Mistake 1, you're not only looking for sympathy on Yea Forums, but you're whiny about it.
I'll bite, though. Ever consider programming or tech in general? It's a set of skills you can learn on your own and get a job doing a year from now if you dedicate yourself. The other poster is right suggesting shit, low paying work like McDs but that's just so you don't feel like a leech. No one says you have to make a career out of it. Im self taught, work in tech, and make 6 figures. Took 8.5 years to get here and had to eat a lot of shit on occasion, but I'm here. I was making about 50 just 3 years in.
I've developed a serious distaste for the work and the industry, but hey... Until I find something else I can do for comparable money, I'm getting paid really well for shit I can actually do.

Hey, you got a story at least..
More than me

I know I'm being whiny, but I'm feeling very down right now. I haven't had a problem with depression for a long time, but it's hitting me hard right now after everything, and I hate appearing weak to people I know I will be seeing again. I don't know how to trust that anyone will still like me after I show how insecure I am.

As for programming, I've never really thought about it. I'm not stupid, but I am scared of trying new things due to being a perfectionist. I hated school and dropped out, so my math is bad.

My story is a how to go from lower middle class to future bum. Don't be so envious.

It's not about math so much as logic (math helps later on, but it isn't a hard requirement to make good money). Don't be a perfectionist if you go that route, not early on at least. Just find joy in accomplishing what you set out to do.

So a lot of if = true, then so and so results? And things of that nature?

I don't know much about logic problems but I have built computers before.

just rebuild your life nigger. if you record is sealed soon just find a new job and rebuild. trust me life is filled with fucking ups and super low downs, you live you learn and carry on till you croak

But how do I build a life with menial fucking jobs or somehow getting educated without going into crushing debt? I am too inept to adapt to the modern world. I suck.

Ultimately, at it's core, yes. You're just moving data around and manipulating it to get outputs you want, to boil it down to stupid simplicity.
Listen to - life can be great until it isn't and life can be total shit until it isn't. A lot of it has to do with your attitude towards it and how you approach and internalize both your failures AND your successes. Also, learn about internal and external locus of control.

I know. I am logical in an abstract sense, but it's never been so personal before. And I also have had a desire to be in love like I thought I never would. I was aloof until I suddenly (or maybe not so much?) became isolated

I know some of these people very well holy shit.

Hell yeah you remember Collie's Castle?

It sucks when you're living in ground zero of the dumpster fire, god knows I know that. One aspect of my life has been absolute hot wet garbage since January of this year and I had severe anxiety as a result until it started dropping off in April. The anxiety is still there, that aspect of my life is still shit, but it's slowly gotten better and continues doing so. Just had to grit my teeth for a while (still gritting, just to a lesser extent).
Also - for the record - logical and abstract are two of the primary magical ingredients for Good Programming(tm).

Umm no but im not sure if the people in this pic would approve of you posting it. I mean yea your not harming anyone but holy shit it makes me think twice about being in pics because posters like you will upload them.

Im in the pic too and im fine with him posting it

Amen brother

Everyone in this picture posed for it. We were all locked in on that punk rock shit. We were frozen in a beautiful moment in time. I only wish people could always be as happy as I was then.

do u have a big dick? fuck fags for money.

You should qualify for unemployment. That’ll get you going. From there move to a city where cars are unnecessary if you plan to have a real job. Otherwise shave, and hit the gym 24x7 and become a fitness coach or w/e.

It's just weird man. But anyway in all honesty if this night was the highlight of your life PLEASE move on. Its time to grow up follow the advice here learn to program learn a skill do something. Trust me bro you don't wanna be an irrelevant 40 something hanging out at partys like this cuz its "punk rawk"

It's not "THE" highlight, it's "A" highlight. And if you think the drunken partying is the takeaway, it's not. It's the sense of community and the feeling of being slammed against the wall by people who love the music as much or more than you do. It's the feeling of building and creating something together. It's the feeling that no one can ever understand it unless they were there.

Jesus Christ on a biscuit.

Not OP, but I'm sorry you've never felt this. It's a nice, warm kind of memory to have.

Dude I love the community and music. I went from playing local and basement shows in the late 90's early 00's to being put up in dressing rooms opening for my punk rock heros in NYC and all over long island. As someone who made these dreams come true and made a living off of the local music community im telling you there is more to life then this. Some of the people in this pic you think are a part of somethinf greater then you but in reality they just enjoy getting fucked up. Im glad you had these great memories but dude TRUST ME move on to greater things.

Jesus doesn't need to be on a biscuit. He makes his own biscuit. Body of Christ motherfucker.

None of these people that I know would help you out when you really need something. But when your watching the band pounding beers they are your family right? I don't think you realize how superficial it all really is.

As a 30 yo who fucked it all up in my mid 20s. It'll work out man. That shit passes.

as the lyrics say: when theres nothing left to lose, u win.
Bow your head low all hail Shadow

I'm gonna say you're one of these two cucks

amirite?

Don't understand how getting your license cancelled is supposed to have somehow ruined your entire life.

Move to or near a city where you don't need one and live in a boarding house or share house and get a job/study. Or find a gf/bf and live with them.

Sounds like you have a car you can sell for cash to begin with.

I bet you're the other cuck in

I embrace the sentiment. But the path forward is murky for me currently. And some of the people associated with this scene are better people than I will ever be. I resent the implication that they are somehow lesser people because we all had a good time.

Superficial? Probably. But those few months made an impression that I still carry with me, so I hesitate to dismiss it outright.

Swing and a miss. Both righteous dudes though.

youtube.com/watch?v=84yZKd4N0QU

I don't think he's implying that they're lesser people, just that they're not necessarily greater than you just because they're fun to party with.

Shouldn't have drank alcohol. Should have had the money for an uber to get home.

Bus tables at a nice restaurant work up to server or bar back offer to take any shift you can get you'll make easy 20 dollars an hour

Stop going out for a while and only drink beer when out unless it's after 12 then liquors cool water always

That's not why they are greater. And I don't even necessarily consider them all greater. But there are several people from that scene who stick to convictions that I respect. And several people whose creations I derive inspiration from. The partying was just a bonus.

But regardless of their merits, which are many, it's my life which is trash and worthy of ridicule.

>>What the fuck do I do?

Best thing now is to start crossdressing.
Call yourself "Plenty".
Surrender to the BBC.
Lose all your troubles, wash all your care and worries away.
Time to get happy.

Youre living with your parents, see that as a way to save up some cash.
Find yourself a job, dosnt matter what, take whatever you can get.
Save up all the cash and keep living with ur parents.
Rent/buy a place somewhere once you have said money or go into school again
its not hard
just do it

You had a series of unfortunate events, and a few bad choices, not a degenerate lifestyle. Your record should be sealed now, right? So go get a new job. Fresh start.

I fucked up a good deal I had, but when I tried again, I got into an even better position. You can do it too, man.

I think what I am struggling with is the belief that it will work out. The nice thing about believing you are worthless is that you are usually right, but the downsides are rather obvious.

Why didn't you call a fucking cab or an uber? Hell you could have even called 911 say I'm drunk and I don't wanna drive they would have picked you up. It was your choice to drink and drive. I don't feel bad for you and the choice you made.

It might not, but what do you have to lose by trying?

Im guessing your one of those
