I don't get neetbucks, I'm actually able to hold down a job. I probably could have if I wanted to but I enjoy working. I got the diagnosis by being manic without any signs of depression (bipolar people show both poles of mania and depression but schizoaffective is only mania). The main limitation is that I have to take a shitload of pills, most of which cause weight gain.

Smoking is much more enjoyable when you dont do it all the time.

Weed isn't all that great, honestly, unless you've got chronic (ha!) medical conditions that make it great as medicine.

Most of my friends who smoke regularly are trying to compensate for anxiety due to poor life choices, or inability to cope with the fact they are poor under-achievers.

Weed does not help them in the long run. They're spending money they don't really have, to be happy with a life they're not really happy with.

It's fun sometimes, but if it's a coping mechanism, then you're fucked.

I know a few people who function well and stay productive on weed and they are like 50. 0 people my age or near. I'll waste my money on tools, cars, land, or tech instead of just letting it go up in smoke. Pluss I can't for my career. 4 years and a $7k test will get me in the $150-200k range so fuck off with that "I'm perfect and works for me" ignorance. Learning science and math is my drug and I'll become enlightened without getting high and lighting it up.

I used to use it as a coping mechanism for the last 3-4 years basically daily. Still sometimes struggling with not spending the entire day stoned because it just fucks my tolerance and I’m not even in a spot anymore where I feel like I’m using it as a coping mechanism, it’s more of a “fuck it, might as well get stoned and play vidya” sort of a thing. Cali stoner here. I agree with this even though I have a successful job, cute girlfriend, financial stability, ect. I had a bunch of friends that’d let their studies slip or not give a fuck when shit was hitting the fan. I was stoned everyday besides test days and graduated university no problem with an economics degree. That being said I’m a pretty smart dude and it brings me down to normal. Definitely brings normal down to stupid and laziness is a burden I deal with from the weed so in that sense I agree with you.
