He 3 years old and his history leading up to our adoption of him is somewhat of a mystery
The only info we ever got on him is that he was raised by a women who went homeless and gave him to the shelter we got him at because she could care for him anymore. He was with one other family before us who said he didnt get along with their other cats so that didnt work out
Then we got him. 80% of the time he is very aggressive. Other 20% lovable
Until Saturday night when my mom went to pet him and he left her with a bite mark she will surely have a scar from
This afternoon were bringing him back to the shelter where he will probably be put down
Any advise on how to change his behavior to save his life?
Hahah any advise that doesn't involve a celebrity?

neck yourself. or go looking for the bullet of an ar15.
Dude, he looks dope as fuck, you can't merk him... Shelters are like kitty concentration camps. Put up an ad or something and some happy little girl will come give him lovies.
if it fucks up, spray it with water if that wont help, beat it till it cant walk

Now I know you're bullshitting me lol. That's one thing we talked about. We can't in good conscious let kids around him. He really has never shown the patience for something like that.
feed him can food everyday at the same time. give him lots of freedom and don't mess with him unless he approaches you. avoid eye contact and don't acknowledge him if he is hiding (like the pics you have of him in a bag.) after a short amount of time he will delevope a routine and begin to trust you as he begins to trust in his own safety.

We have had him for 7 months and pretty much done this. The thing we hate the most is when he hides and we walk bu him he pounces. And not with love bites. He jumps like were prey.
Hes scared and was probably abused. Or maybe he misses his old mom.
Find some treats that he loves and use them to reward him for playing. Find a toy he likes and just quietly play with him. Sit in a quite room and play with a toy that interests him. Gently coax him to interact with it and give him treats for doing so. From there teach him to play fetch or tie it to a string and do circles around yourself with it.
Hes a cat, they are smart as fuck, and right now his world is full of painful memories. Get him to associate you with fun and good times and be patient, he will come around.

too late. he's tasted human blood

Get him neutered if he wasn't already. If the shelter did when they got him, cats are usually aggressive for a while after getting their parts removed.

>mom went to pet him and he left her with a bite mark abused kitty syndrome. hands = weapons. maybe not all the time, or maybe it's simply where she touched him. maybe it was unexpected contact. it's all right there in the behavior, user. have patience, figure him out, or laze out and get a fresh kitty.

Get the cat stoned a few times, it will chill out.
