I have noticed black outline and I used GIMP color select tool.
Usually it doesn't work like that.

Well, it not always work.
For ex,
Outline is not black, it is semi-transparent of sort, and if you select multiple colors you get garbage, so the only way is to trace it manually. Or use some black magic I don't know
