Yeah, even checking some of their patreons and stuff, they've just disappeared into the wind. Not that very many people were paying them.
It's just a constant roller coaster of reading a long running series of comics only to have it end mid arc since 2 years ago.
Is that a written one or a comic? I've pretty much only been looking for the comics since I honestly don't give that much of a damn about reading this weird fandom - I like the art and some of the human stories.

Text has it's use.
Specifically, it can convey a much longer story far faster than images can.
Think of your average image you find on the booru. Now think how fast you can describe what's happening in that image in writing.
On average, a single image will take perhaps one or two paragraphs of text to explain adequately, which takes only minutes.
Now, if you want to tell a longer story in comic format, it can take hours of work even to create a simple story with a beginning, middle, and end.
The same thing in text takes maybe an hour. Imagine if someone were to take that story I just wrote out and converted into even shitty drawings.

I don't disagree, but given the booru's capabilities and the sheer volume of text (most of it absolute garbage even though I admit there are a number of gems) actually obscures the artwork. I'm not saying all the artwork is great, because God knows it isn't, but it's much easier for an artist to realise they're just not any good at it then it is for a writer.

People who justify abuse say fluffies deserve it because they are dishonest about their emotions and dont' truly love.
Basically, they say that, becuase fluffies will say they love anything and call them mommah, daddeh, fwiend, what have you, that they can't truly mean it, and therefore deserve to be killed for it.
But if a fluffy like this existed in such a world, one where people claim fluffies only pretend to love to be taken care of and pampered, would it not prove that they are genuine in their feelings towards people?
It obviously isn't getting anything in return for killing itself, and it's doing so because it regrets not being a good fluffy for it's owner despite being treated so well. If it regrets making the owner mad, it must have actually loved him.

In D&D, if I remember correctly, things don't generally die until they reach -10 HP, and 0 is just incapacitated, usually unconscious.
Fluffies are shown to be fragile and easily damaged, but also surviving extreme injuries and still being able to cry and speak.
So this is how I think about it, fluffies have very low HP, like probably 2 or 3, but they need to reach a far lower negative number to actually perish. Instead of -10, they have to reach something like -25. This means they're still incapacitated, but they linger until their HP drops down the rest of the way.
