nah I'm looking at getting cheap land in the middle of nowhere, going to try and apply some landscaping/agriculture techniques I've read about. In theory the first steps don't need much babysitting, so while they'll take some effort and materials to get set up I'll be able to keep working here and paying off any necessary loans for a couple more years
you should pick out some good entertainment ahead of time if you won't be able to do much, might help the recovery go by faster

well initially it depends on location specific conditions, but once the site is remediated I have an autistic list of plants necessary to make a list of nutritionally complete foods which I eat regularly. It's realistically achievable in a fairly small area, just a few acres. Part I'm worried most about are row crops which I have little experience with and will probably get shitty yields with for several years and the potential of having dairy stock, which has it's own host of challenges and costs which I am still educating myself about
