Throw out all your cigarettes, get patches or gum if needed.
I smoked my last cig an hour ago. I'm hoping I can quit cold turkey, but if I find that i'm really struggling with it I may get patches.
Good luck fren
try wild hemp rolls and/or plain jane full flavor rolls?
Man I tried gum and it's not working for me. I'm stressed and depressed without cigarettes. It's fucking insane. With the gun, you check it like 5 tubes and hold it in your lip like dip. I don't get anything from it.
Get a vape
Contract bronchitis
That's how I quit
Thanks man
I have no clue what that is
I know the feeling man. But cigarettes have been making me miserable for fucking years. It's one of those things, when you don't wanna do it you're doing it, but then when you do it you want to stop. It's the most retarded and pointless habit. Not to mention constantly smelling and feeling like utter shit. I'm hoping this time it finally sticks and I can stop altogether.
Never gonna make it
Also learn healthier coping mechanisms
Hell no
Damn, how long did you smoke?
>Never gonna make it
Why not? I already brought the pack I wasn't gonna waste money either lol
Quitting is easy. You got this user.
Marijuana
Yeah man I feel the same. I'm poor but have some gum and I guess it's better than nothing. I know what you mean, smoking's friend upon now and it's so pointless. It's not like it gets us high. I just hate the way o feel without it. I hope it goes away soon man. It's been like 2 days.
I dunno man. I've done it before like 8 years ago, lasted 6 months before going back. This time though I do think it will be easier since I legit want to quit.
I don't smoke weed anymore
Kill yourself
cigarettes made from hemp
plain jane is one producer of them and so is one called wild hemp
If you truly want to quit you will
They say the reason smokers feel bad when they quit isn't the withdrawal itself, but because deep down they don't really want to quit. You should check out Allan Carr's book on quitting smoking. That's what I read the first time I tried to quit and lasted 6 months after reading it. There's an even longer one that supposedly helps if you fail but I haven't gotten around to reading that, probably won't either.
Oh okay, yeah I'm good on that. Without the nicotine I find it pointless.
That's what I figure. I've been wanting to for awhile but I always found excuses. I feel like if it's not gonna be now it never will be.
Get a NAC supplement trust me
I'm using a juul for now and plan on slowly decreasing the nicotine levels until i can just stop needing my nic fix. been going strong for almost a month now
What's NAC?
Why not just smoke lighter cigs? There's a site that shows you the nicotine levels in cigs
first months you have to deal with the withdrawal and get every help u can but the problem really is later, never forget that, never assume you will somehow make it in just a few months
get patches - the stress from going cold turckey is real and it will ruin many aspects of your personnality in the coming months (btw u can just cut the heavy duty ones in half when u want to progressively decrease)
certain food like apples can help u manage with the SUDDEN URGES - also remember to deal with urges by not focusing on them (like telling yourself "i can always debate myself about cigs in 5 mins)
switch EVERYDAY HABITS bc u would smoke at specific moments in specific places, so try to go on week ends, have new activities, use different rooms, etc.
the TOUGHEST PART will be after the withdrawal is gone, bc u might still think NOT SMOKING FEELS LIKE A SACRIFICE when actually you have to start thinking the other way around AND CONSTANTLY REMIND YOURSELF OF ALL THE BENEFITS OF NON SMOKING
cuz cigs still have massive amounts of carcinogens aside from the nicotine. i realize a vape isnt healthy by any means, but its like drinking an arizona sweet tea vs drinking a mountain dew
This is good advice. It reminds me of that book I mentioned before. Thanks man.
That's a good point. Good luck either way.
One word: Chantix. It works.
vape, chew or gum. vape is best ignore all faggots that call it douche flute etc etc etc etc etc , quit for 3 years vaping saved thousands
brainwashed by Neo Marxist Jewish Supremacists kys
I could explain it to you but look it up it’s called N-acetylcysteine helped me to stop, Im a manager at a sup store and sell that all the time to people who smoke and always have great feed back, it’s an amazing supplement on its own anyways and you’d benefit from it smoker or not
6 year smoker. I tried everything. But nothing worked until I finally decided to actually try "one day at a time". That was the final nail in the coffin. It's about being present and actually giving a fuck about yourself.
Yeah listen to my podcast
I've been trying to quit recently but I never make it more than a few days without giving in and smoking again, I've tried lozenges, patches, gum, none of it is helping me quit, sure I'm not smoking nearly as much but I'm still smoking and I can't seem to quit altogether AND I'm also dependent on the nicotine supplements, the only things I haven't tried are vape and chantix/wellbutrin but I already take meds and would hate to have to take another one just to quit smoking, my parents don't seem to think vaping would help
Bro do you know how many last packs smokers buy? It's at least 1/20th, IMHO.
Its never gonna happen until you actually take it one day at a time. No pressure, no panic, cause tomorrow you know you get to smoke again. Then next morning comes around.. "huh. I bet I can do that again." Then day 4 comes around and you think about that nicotine buzz you always chase. But then you remember that self respect is the greatest of all aphrodesiacs. So you make it a week. If you can make it ten days, you can make it two years, like I've done.
