I think getting validation for your actions can be a euphoric feeling. It's not bad to want, but when you're entire being is molded around whether you got attention or not? Instead of focusing on the things that make you happy? That's when it becomes unhealthy.

The thing is, getting validation in of itself can make someone happy. I can't find myself doing anything at all and be happy with what I did on my own, because of my inherently nihilist outlook on the purpose of life. So I make of what I can and be judged on that.
Sure, this opens me up to severely damaging manipulative tactics, especially so in an environment like this. But because I'm okay with who I am and not exactly what I do instead, I just roll with that.

People work differently, so I can only really speak for myself and for the people I've seen discuss it. Sometimes validation is what people use to function... And I personally view that as incredibly unhealthy.
I more than understand. Getting comments, likes, etc. on my art posts? Feels great! But I could never have my entire happiness rely on such an extremely unsteady source. It's risky. It could control how I view my entire day. But I don't want that. And I don't like seeing people I care about face that. What you find happiness in, pure joy in doing, is on you. Only you can find that outlet that makes you happy and can stand by itself without relying SOLELY on validation (but it's still a fine bonus).
You don't exactly have to go as far as "leave for good." Taking some time off? Sure. But leaving for good feels a bit much. I'm glad what I said could result in a positive impact. Wishing you the best drawfriend.

Find social groups (irl or online) for things you are interested in. Put yourself out there and try to make some friends. Don't worry about being "perfect." You'll learn from your mistakes as they naturally come. Try to participate in communities (irl or online).
Just take little steps. Even if it's just silently posting your art to forums, it can open you up more. It just takes those first few steps. Be more confident in yourself. Don't worry about what people think too much. Just be yourself user. People who like you will come around (and people who like you will hopefully help you on anything you fuck up on. That includes any views or negative ways of thinking you may have adapted. Helping you become a better person.).

If I can offer some critique, it's that you rush and dont properly detail the drawing, she looks as if she has three fingers. While your line work is solid, its honestly your lack of overall detail and shading that need some critical improvement.

Depends on where you live. If you're in America, odds are you can just go to a dispensary and buy some if you are 21+. Would be good to look into it yourself though. Wouldn't want to start off your first time with something too strong. I'd also go for vaping. If you aren't in the USA, I can't help you much on where to get some. If you are in the USA, but it's not legal to purchase pot yourself, just talk to your doctor about it. Pot helps with anxiety greatly among some other health issues you may have. They could potentially prescribe you some for "medical" use.
Being clingy has it's faults, but it's a big step as is that you recognize that. It's something you can focus working on. Talking a lot really isn't an issue. I know a few people (myself included, clearly) who type/talk a bit too much. But that's okay.
Just learn that people need some space and that not talking for a while isn't exactly a bad thing. Some of my closest, most trusted friends are ones I can not talk to for a month and come back like nothing much happened. Updating on anything big, but most you'd assume is people are busy. Or maybe that person is just an introvert and talking to people saps a bit too much of their energy, so they take breaks. Everyone is different. The sooner you learn and realize this, the easier things will be for you.
