No I was going to act on it, That is what makes it so horrible. I got my hands on an unregerstered gun, and was about to do it the next day. That night I had a dream about the birth of my firstborn son. I woke up and bawled my eyes out for several hours.
I don't know if it was God or my own subcontius that stopped me but I went to a church for the first time in my life and confessed everything. I had to deal with the police and talk with a therapist and psychologist for several months before I was allowed to go back to my classes.

I just don't like the way some religions look at believers, or putting them under a certain spotlight.
At least 70% of believers, generally look up at this God like some sort of higher being that casts their judgment to everyone, at every moment of the day, whenever it pleases, and this is wrong.
A God shouldn't be some sort of deity that a subject worships, or fears; it should just be a figure of guidance, someone to look up to, not someone to give my life for.
If someone causes a mess, he's a fucking idiot, do better next time, not "God will judge your behavior".
With this kind of teaching you bring people to devote themselves to a higher being, when instead you should bring them to devote their lives to themselves, and then use the higher being as guidance.
But either way, the higher ranks in religions gains power from this sort of control, so as long as someone can pull some strings, everyone's going to believe they're doing the right things.
