I've never used Yea Forums and don't know how to reply to people. I hope this works and u don't make fun of me :( Picked a nice thread without internet savages.
we have comfy threads almost every day, sometimes multiple times a day. nice place to listen to chill music, sip a coffee or whisky and look at nice pictures of places. What I like about these threads is seeing everyone's differing opinions on what "comfy" is. For some it's snowy streets in a small village For others it's summer in a cabin by a lake Some like the neon glow of busy (or quiet) Japanese streets Others are into never-ending depressing cityscapes with rain on the window. Sometimes it's a library with a roaring fire Other times it's a doggo or a cat.
I'm fucking sick of it. I moved from the North to Southern hemisphere in April. I've been cold for 10 months now and cant wait for it to warm up in a couple of month's time.
I lived in Japan for 10 years. I miss walking around the streets with a 12% strawberry chu-hai in hand, looking to see what izakaya is worth going in or deciding if we're gunna do karaoke instead.
I switched the first letter of both words around and giggled like a retard for a good minute
Love when the snow gets that deep and fluffy icing look. You know its going to be nice and cold and snowy for a while.
I'd be okay with 1 or 2 days a year over 70 F. A couple of months above freezing. Otherwise cold and snow nonstop. Really cold and snow all year and I can just vacation a couple of days in the heat so i don't have to experience it unless i choose to.
in asian countries, you pay an hourly rate to get your own room. you dont sing in front of a whole bar, that shit's gay. in a typical chain like Jankara you'll pay $12 per person for 2 hours in peak times for your own room and all-you-can-drink, plus overpriced food. but in cheap mom n pop ones you can often get a room as cheap as $5 (not per person, total) for 3 or 4 hours. Then you just sneak in a bottle of whisky or 2 and go at it.
yeah. imagine like a hotel, but instead of getting a small room with a bed in it, it's a small room with a table, big TV, sound system and flashing lights in it. you go to the front desk, pay for your time, you get taken through to your room and you have 2 or 3 hours to sing your heart out, drunk with your friends in a soundproof room.
you can order beer and simple cocktails on a tablet in the room and servers bring it to you. you have to pay for food though.
nah, they call you on the phone in the room 5 minutes before your time is up and you have a choice to finish after that song or to extend your time. you pay when you leave, but the place is designed that you cant leave without passing the front desk anyway. not that anyone breaks the law in Japan, that'd just be rude.
yeah it's good shit. you go with co-workers as part 2 of a big night out. sometimes people go alone to practice their singing or to perfect their skills for the next company outing. go with a couple of friends and rock out to classic rock, complete with some air-guitaring. and it's a popular date spot, either on a 2nd date with your girlfriend, putting your arm around her during a love song or to just fuck a random slut you picked up at the bar. nowadays they have cameras n shit in them so you cant get away with straight up fucking in them, but after a few drinks it's a private enough spot to flirt, touch, kiss and basically start what will be finished off with in a Love Hotel (hotel with hourly rates so for you to fuck in)
