What are the taxes like in your states? I pay 30% on all products in Southern California. I've yet to see any improvements to the state because of the tax.

I'm saying I smoke what I grow so no no pesticides and no fucking mold. I can't speak for everyone but I grow organic, properly flushed, no pesticides or mold, hand manicured boutique pot. I am always out because the demand far outstrips the supply. I sell it for 175 an oz.

I'm not sure about other states but where I am they prevent felons from working in the industry, which I find dumb because they are the most experienced growers. As long as they only have cultivation, possession, or sales of marijuana, they should have their records expunged and allowed to work.

Not anymore I just moved to a newer larger facility. Everyone has to start somewhere. I have not borrowed a penny from any bank or human being I have done everything on my own from scratch. Colorado industry here. I think our highest tax is around 30% in boulder county.
They do require background checks to work in legal market but they still allow for certain felonies as long as the case has been closed.

I actually got my start in cali before moving to Denver almost 10 years ago. The market there is changing with new regulation going into play and I've been gone for awhile so i don't really know where the industry sits as far as being able to make career out of it.
There's a ton of industry work available here but a lot of it comes down to who you know as well as reputation along with actual skill. I was able to buy a house before I turned 30 and did pretty well for myself but I also got started super early.
I have 15yr old buds in a freezer that're as good as the day they went in. Cant say that about tomatos. I can grow around 10lbs a year legally here without anymore effort than tipping a watering can. I buy my tomatos too

Humans are inherently lazy and that johnny appleseed approach to growing cannot produce weed as aesthetically pleasing as indoor, because of insects and all the other little things that damage outdoor plants. I'm not saying it won't be as good, I'm saying it won't look as good and you are going to have to contend with bugs. And slugs. Slugs love pot, I fucking hate them. If you use organic fertilizer like bat guano or fish emulsion raccoons and skunks will dig your shit up...just a lot of hassle.
