I find it to be pretty syrupy which I wasn't prepared for when I first tried it. I can definately see it as the type of booze to mix with something sweet, but to me it's just like Bailey's, more of a dessert mixer than a drink you can just have by itself

you're right: mixing is usually for cheap hooch. i dont mix anymore. i usually do Woodford Reserve, neat/double, with a sculpin (not grapefruit!) on the side, or Stone Ripper to sip on.
