I have mostly 30 year old boomer traits. I'm 31, drive a muscle car, listen to metallica/megadeth/other 80s thrash, own my own house, have a wife and kids, wear a suit to the office, but if none of that convinces you this is how I spent my day today:
1. I hitched the trailer to my wife's SUV and drove over to my boomer dad's house
2. I got our zero turn mower loaded up on the trailer along with our trimmer and blower
3. I cut my grass and my neighbor's lawn, but I only charge her a low price for gas money to cut it because I'm a friendly neighbor.
4. Went back to my dad's house, unloaded the stuff, and cut his grass for him because I'm a good son who helps his ole' boomer dad out
5. I went home and spent the rest of the afternoon washing my car, vacuuming the interior, and then detailing it.
6. Spent the evening after dinner watching star trek and playing with my son who is 15 months old.
Oh, and I spent the prior day with my brother and a friend at the drag strip, they had a special event where jet powered drag cars were running.
I feel that there is no hope for me. I don't drink energy drinks though. In fact I don't drink anything but water and beer.
