The more you write the better you remember from one night to the next I good portion of my ideas came from impressions in my dreams since high school.
I knew before that creative people tend to feel like they need to put their work out there or they will die, but I have never experienced it myself before now. It's like i have become a different person in the span of a week.
I had some mental breakdown on one of these threads on Monday. And ever since I caught this creative bug that keeps telling me to write and brainstorm more and more, and more. I feel like I'm going crazy, yet yesterday I think was one of the best days of my life. While I was at work I was brainstorming about my novel and everything suddenly fit together I finally had the basis of the plot complete and all I had to do was add detail and more characters.
Not just that I feel better. I feel more open and honest about myself, I actually want to talk to people, i stopped playing Vidya, I started working out and hiking again, have more energy.
Hell i was talking with a girl at my work yesterday for 30 minutes and I think she actually likes me. I'm just so freaking happy about my life right now.

Dunno going to be working on it for few years before its anywhere near being published let alone the fact I cant draw. I tried to make it pure literature but I spent too much time writing about the visuals for it to remain coherent. I am too much of a visual person not too. I think I'm goin to basically write adesription of visuals, scenes, dialogue, and setting of the visual novel and hopefully one day I'll find somebody I can convince to help me bring it to life in drawing.
Don't care if it makes money or not. im writing this for me and I'm making it if it's the last thing I do. this is going to be my passion project for next few years while I graduate college and start working in R&D, so it won't be a source of income I would need. If I did become a professional writer to some degree i wouldn't feel sad although that be a whole degree in Biochemistry to waste, and I am passionate about science as well so IDK it would be nice to make some money off of my work but more than anything I just hope people like it.

No I mean medival style cultures with medival level teck can live alongside others with machine guns, jets planes and bombs. The kind of technology people can use depends on where they are.
Magic is real it just comes and goes at certain places and certain times. Every decade or so little bubbles of Chaotic energy pop into existance, and then fade back into normal reality. When people die they give off a small degree of Chaotic energy that is why many soldiers of war report inexplicable things such as angels driving back the germans during early parts of WW1. Ghosts, UFOs, and Miracles all are just manifestations of the Precosmogonic Chaos the Universe once consisted solely of.
Basically what happens is that a nuclear war actually goes hot and millions of people die in mere hours this causes a massive amount of Chaotic energy to spread across the world to such a degree that much of the energy from the bombs get absorbed directly into this chaotic magic saturating the land they detonated on. Due to this life on earth was not completely destroyed, yet every place where one of the bombs dropped the laws of the universe break down.

The natural laws of the universe become more I'll defined the further you move into chaos saturated areas. Much the same way light moving through different mediums can change wavelength it will do much the same throught the chaos, causing them to be nearly impossible to use radio for communication. This effect would magnify the closer you move toward the city, or town that was bombed. At the epicenter of of the chaotic energy even the visual spectrum would become warped and discolored. Other teck such as computers would be rendered non functional in the slightest levels of chaotic energy. This is because the precise measurements of Voltage and Amperage needed to make electronics function, would wildly because many of the universal constants would change. This way the only electronics that may function would need to be built to withstand overloading, overheating making them large, bulky and heavy. In areas with very intense saturation even mechanical devices such as combustion engines, and Guns would cease to fuction. The resistance of the components to being bent ot broken would vary over time. causing most internal mechanics to destroy themselves. Even chemical reaction would become less predictable and volatile.

They are able to us basic electronics, like lightbulbs electric stoves, refrigerators, air conditioners, but they must be built to withstand fluctuations in amperage. Notice the low gauge wiring and the massive overbuilt bulbs. militarily they have teck on par with WW2 armies, and are industrialized.

Magic saturation of the land makes technology malfunction. By necessity the way of life of people in areas with a large amount of chaos saturation are more primitive and low teck.
In places where there is very little to no Chaotic influence technology allows those people to produce far more resources. Vice versa Your magical power is very dependent on where you are. Places that have the most Chaotic power( aka where the bombs fell) Magi can be extremely powerfull.
If a high teck army tried to invade a magically powerfull place the further they push into the magically charged lands the more their weapons, and vehicles would malfunction. Vise versa if a low teck high magic army where to invade a place with little magical power their powers would get less and less powerfull the further they went. Each respective army would have an extremely strong homefeild advantage, due to this civilizations that form in two different chaotic energy levels tend to leave each other alone. I need to start maping this out pretty soon.

Keep in mind that this will bring up some important questions to address. One of the most obvious is why the superpower countries would develop weapons systems that are shut down by the unpredictable magic. It seems like it's not a good idea to have weaponry that flat out won't work in random areas at random times.
Presumably the magic has always been a part of the world, so you'd need to consider how technology would change because of it. If it was suddenly introduced by an incident, you'd need to establish exactly why that incident led to the creation of magic.
