It's not an accurate story is why. He was never hit on the head nor did seeing an apple fall suddenly make him think gravity. He was already pondering gravity (he was kind of obsessed with it and believed the moon orbited because of gravity) and seeing an apple fall lead to the train of thought where he asked himself "why do they always fall directly perpendicular" and hypothesised there was a force in the earth at the core that drew things towards it. Same manuscript also says he felt it was related to the size of the earth, but that also meant the apple should be pulling the earth as well, but it's not as strong.
He was right about that too.

Both at the same time. Gravity is constant and velocity doesn't influence it.
If you fired the bullet fast enough (which would be impossible but anyway) with nothing in it's way and no wind resistance it would orbit the earth from the height you fired it.

When carbon dioxide levels rise, heat rises. The ecosystem changes, and carbon levels fall. The natural process is millions of years.
Then we started burning fossil fuels and pumping unprecedented amounts of carbon dioxide into the air. The changes over the last 100 years would have taken the earth millions of years to do "naturally".

And the government charging taxes is as much an argument against climate change as big pharma selling insulin for 10,000 dollars is an argument against diabetes being real... It's not. It means they're jerks. That's it.
