>Be me >18 >right now >have had dreams that predict my own future acouple of years in advance >usually after waking up I still remember it for maybe half an hour or so untill it fades away >everytime the moment comes around I remeber that I've been there before. Sometimes before, sometimes after or right as the moment hits. >have had these throughout my childhood >they faded over the years as I descended into sleeplessness and depression >in the past 2.5 years I've started to fight my depression >this brings us to a couple of days ago >sitting in a park on a bench, something I usually don't do >I had one of those realizations, I another moment in which I'd been before. >however I also realised I'm going to have another moment in 2 days >I remembered the moment for a split second >while being at the cinema with my crush and her twin >trying to hit on my crush >obviously fail because my social skills are at a negative 100 >but this is my problem
The point I'm getting at is. I have 2 days, where I'm most definitely not going to die.
years ahead of the thing actually accruing? Before I've even been to some of the places?
Aiden Lee
Yea I get that all the time. I always just counted it as deja vu whenever I got it. doubt its any different.
Sebastian Foster
the most extreme case I've. Before I'd even visited the school I'm currently at. While i was in another city I saw the halls of my school. It seems like madness to me before I'd even decided to move cities or even known of said school I saw it.
Benjamin Brooks
kill yourself
Jack Young
The problem wirh it being a deja vu is they usually a cure in the span on days ahead, if I'm not mistaking.
Ryder Collins
thanks, but I'm kinda past that point. I've stood in the verge and haven't been able to. So no, now that I'm somewhat satisfied with my current standing I couldn't most definitely not do it.
Eli Carter
Gravity waves. Some feel them. We rise to the top of the wave and see what lies ahead for a brief moment. We then fall back only to experience once more what we previously saw. It is also called deja vu.
Michael Ortiz
Don't try to bullshit me with gravity waves. The phenomenon isn't neatly well enough studied and the is no hint that i know of it affect a human being in anyway shape or form.
Samuel Mitchell
TLDR retard thinks he has powers
Ryan Powell
thanks. If I'd have a explanation for it I'd wholeheartedly accept it, but i don't have one. Even if it was a power it be a pretty shitty one.
Ryder Brown
Check out quantum entanglement, I've had this since childhood too. Probably not your future but a future for another you. I've found these dreams to be better as guides rather than truths lol take it easy young cherub
Jacob Martin
buddy quantum entanglement is nothing more then 2 elementary particles being connect via an yet unknown source. What you are suggesting is that somehow either, assuming such a large scale entanglement is possible:
You can be entangled with a future version of yourself, meaning they literally break out of the time stream reconnect in another intercept. Meaning time travel would be possible backwards and forwards. Our current understanding of physics negates that.
We live in a multiverse, where some other universes have somehow managed to get ahead of others. and quantum entanglement can be created across such a vast distanc. Or if you are assuming there is so to say another plane of existence or countless of these. Then I'm still questioning, why we wouldn't see anyother effects, more obvious ones?
Gabriel Phillips
I really would love to have an answer to this, but what your suggesting doesn't add up or im missing something.
Carson Ramirez
Because we're observers.
But a dream is a brain sorting information it has stored and perhaps entanglement occurs and leaves us with similar information required for a dream thus it presents itself in a dream? It's only a theory but this occurs regularly, I've met several people with the same experiences.
I'm not OP btw
Daniel Allen
yes well I am OP and I wrote the comment you're replying to.
btw I'd love to meet every single one of these people and talk with them in person. Im sure theres a good group study to be made hear.
Right so you're suggesting the brain as it is sorting through it's daily accumulated information, it starts to vibrate so perfectly synchronized with a past self that the information can be transferred to said past self. I'm not so sure if this is possible as it assumes information can travel outside the time stream. Thus seemingly violating the preservation of information.
Gavin Jenkins
Oops my bad i'm kinda high haha
Not with a past self but a different self in a different multiverse that resonates with you. That's the closest explanation I've found to explaining this.
My main example of this experience is a bit incredulous but I can tell it if you wish
Joseph Gonzalez
sure buddy go ahead. I'm willing to sit here read it as long as it takes.
Ethan Nelson
also the brain doesn't start to vibrate.
It's already vibrating
Camden Parker
Deja vu means they have changed something, you need to get out of there!
It's resonating. in that case wouldn't it would be in a constant link, which raises the question. How can these moments a cure only while we are sleeping. Why don't we see something every single time we sleep from the other version?
Mason Diaz
a matrix fan. You know what? I've only seen the first one. And No Neo is not the chosen one.
Daniel Flores
>be me
>be a young kid, probably 5-6 when the dream began
>it's a lost mother dream
>i'm searching through a huge crowd of people in a place i've never been to before under a massive canopy with huge arches holding it up
>search for a while until i have the epiphany
>"look for her by the fountain"
>Get there and of course she's there and the dream ends
>Ask my mother about it because it was a repeating dream with the same thing over and over
>actually became the reason I gained the ability to lucid dream as I would walk myself to the fountain quicker and quicker
>Mother tells me it's nothing to worry about and every kid has these kind of lost mother dreams
>skip forward to teenage years
>family goes on a trip to france
>mother hates heights so when we went to the Eiffel Tower she refused to come up with us
>Rest of my family descend the tower and go to the place we were meant to meet her but she's not there.
>takes a while for me to realise but i have this feeling of being set in a track. Like events are happening around me and I'm doing things that I've done before
>Have the epiphany to look by the fountain
>Father disagrees but I go anyway and I find her there texting us where she was
>she's amazed I found her so quick in that huge crowd and i'm like
>"yeah me too"
Blake James
checkin all these dubs of truth
Sebastian Lee
This is an example prime example, but I don't see how it would reassure your thesis.
Austin Anderson
>I've only seen the first one. That's the best one anyway. >And No Neo is not the chosen one Yeah I know, he isn't Jewish right?
Have you ever done the x trick with a bit of squared paper? Move it close enough and the x disappears. Our brains make sense of the universe for us and makes it tangible. TIme is a great example of this. Perhaps quantum mechanics are happening all around us and we just can't witness them. Like UV.
Also I believe the conditions have to be quite perfect. The right chemical balance in our brains for example. I believe there have to be similar environmental conditions too. For example you can't connect with a multiverse that doesn't have a You in. Or with a You that contrasts you too much.
All this has no evidence. It's all guess work and thoughts build up over decades after talking to many cleverer people than I. But that's the greatest strength of the Human race. Together we can hash it out, provide our experiences and our thoughts and crowd compute this shit until we're masters of the universe.
Landon Taylor
A natural occurrence. Yes, for this post it may seem like a high number, but this is only 1 post. If you'd look at a bigger sample size the distribution should normalize. good old e^(-x^2)
Nathan Young
While I agree it's a natural occurence this is a rather large occurrence of dubs in such a short time.
Daniel Richardson
didn't see his D. hard to tell. I wouldn't mind him being Jewish.
The problem is. I have had experiences, where if linked up with other individuals, where I then saw myself. Those, where some of the last ones before my depression. So it's kind of problematic for me to believe, that the conditions can only be ment by self or that there would be a constant resonating connection.
As I said, this is a natural bleep consider how many posts there have been throughout the years there have probably been dozens if not more with such a high number of dubs.
Connor Morgan
heh btw 2 of those comments and the post were me OP
But yeah like i said in it's just a bleep or a rare currence. given enough comments this would balance out.
Jose Lee
I believe there is a constant connection, we just don't have the capacity to engage with it. I don't quite understand the first part of your comment to me. Can you describe these contrasting experiences again? What I think you mean is perhaps it requires being around a certain person? But I think you've gotten me wrong also, it doesn't just require self but the situations and choices people around that person have taken too. Like a You in another universe without Trump for example might still resonate but only if the two You's aligned in other ways. I kinda picture the whole universe like flicking through a book. On one of those pages is you and your universe. The next page also has you but slightly different. And so on and so forth but slightly more warped and less linear than the metaphor allows.
John Miller
What I'm saying is. I've linked, as you call it, with another human. In a situation, where I would literally see myself going about my own business.
So what I'm saying is you could also link in such away that your you from said other universe is nearby.
As I've come to understand your thesis. This is arises somewhat of a problem.
Tyler Sanchez
You've "linked" with someone you normally wouldn't because of a dream? Like bleed through of another You?
Elijah Phillips
This is the one I can remeber the best
>Be not me >qt beside a friend (I at this point didn't know their could see. As I was her) >walk down a shopping center >See a weird older version of myself ( I didn't expect to look like that)
>Be me >years later >coming from debating >walk into the shopping center i need to pass through to get to my bus stop >walk maybe a min >see said qt and said friend >keep walking >it hits me like a volleyball serve straight to the face
Christian Robinson
Ohhh I understand you now, that's a really cool example.
Well to that I'll tell you another of my beliefs which is we are the universe experiencing itself. Therefore you would have a connection to her too.
I don't have an answer for you I'm afraid, I wish I had one for myself. Keep in mind what I've said and perhaps expand upon it and pass the information along to the next person
But in regards to your original post don't test fate, regardless of the how and why I believe we're experiencing the same thing and it won't tell you the future, just perhaps a little glimpse of what could happen if things go the same way
Wyatt Cox
well, It was wonderful talking to you. And I am relieved that there are others out there. If you want to stay in touch with me on most platforms you can find me under the online name Jameroth (steam, discord, etc)
Your theory definitely needs tinkering and expanding, that is something I'll definitely attempt.
In case we never meet again. I wish you a wonderful and fullfilling life.
Austin Gutierrez
Have you guys had experienced the dreaming system? There's a lot of space there for you two to experiment, you could even run your own simulated multiverse to test your wacky theory.
Ayden Murphy
what is the dreaming system?
Connor Stewart
All counciusness are connected to a vast self-aware counciusness, this counciusness needs to experiments reallity in order to exists, and do it trough our existence. The catch is that cannot be present in our experience thous will lose it self-aware status, so it resolves this problem linking all the consciousness while they are dreaming. For economy porpouses every species had a starter zone or collective dream
Noah Cruz
Seems interesting. Thank you for this helpful insight. I'm gonna look into it.
Going to delete the post in 5 min.
Christian Bennett
I guess I can't delete this post anymore.
OP offline.
Juan Murphy
My pleasure, see the ghita for further reference they straigth call it the eternal dream. Why are you deleting the post?
Dominic Ramirez
I agree with much of your linked self aware collective consciousness hypothesis. Pretty much spot on but I think we do it purposefully/inadvertandly while conscious aswell. As a species its built in for us to have the best interests for other humans as our species. So we have each others back in our cores
While conscious we are traped by the eternal present principle. We experience reality as a secondary thoug because our counciusness is an ilusion made by the brain to fill the feedback gap created by the processing limitation of our wetware. So as we cannot experience the reality as the eternal present that is itself we have this unique eco we call counciusness, so i dont believe we could experience or share another person's own seasoning.
