Being a pilot is shit. That's why most pilots are alcoholics that drink on the job. It's boring, stressful, and unrewarding after a few years. The only place it pays that much is in Asia where there's a massive pilot shortage but that's only temporary. At it's worst, entry-level pilots made as low as $28,000 USD a year. OP is probably just fantasizing about becoming one and got a little hard-on for it. Also, you don't really get accepted into pilot school. You pay the tuition and you're in. Those kebab hijackers from 9/11 got in without a lick of knowledge and they barely even spoke English. And they graduated.
