because bitches live on their phone, they use it more while charging because they can't be disconnected for the period it's charging/need to charge often because of aforementioned overuse. the more you handle it on the charger the more it's going to twist, especially if you're careless as fuck about handling it on the charger. you almost always have to twist at an awkward angle to be able to look at it while it charges anyway. it's common sense.

apple makes these things to break. I've gone though 5 macbook pro chargers in 5 years. Conversely I've never needed to change my PC charger, they just don't break.
