Fascism is an outdated term you're throwing around because you see a nationalist with totalitarian leanings and you immediately want to connect them with Nazis to score political points.

For someone to be a fascist they have to be seriously offering a "third position" mixed economy. Not only is Trump not doing that, but there is no meaningful socialist/communist movement anywhere in the world. You don't have communists inciting revolutions for fascists to react to, you don't have anarchists in developed nations, you don't have folks trying to seize the means of production. In the US you don't even have meaningful labor unions. Fascism is defined as being a reaction to the fight between liberal-democratic capitalism and communism. That fight ended when the wall came down.

We're not Europe, they didn't go negative during the crash. They'll probably knock it down a quarter of a percent in September, but we don't have serious inflationary pressures right now. We'll see what happens when/if wage growth starts coming from the strong jobs market.
