Black Ops 3 had too much going on. All of the jet packs and all that other bullshit ruin the game in my opinion. Black Ops 2 had just fhr right amount of "futuristic" technology. Plus that crossbow in BO2 was no joke!

Back then it was shit, maybe bc bf4 was released and it was way more intense than ghost. I've played it again a couple of weeks ago, and the main things I hate are the kill streaks, stone haven and some guns like the chain saw. Prestiging is fucking weird too. Tbh, I do like the perk build up, you can have like a million perks in one guy or not, depends on your build. Specialist still op. Most vanilla maps are shit, but most dlc maps are fun. If you think about it, ghost is the first cod to include weird stuff like that briefcase you pick up to finish a little challenge, an you'll get stuff like Michael Myers, predator, a harrier, even a kem strike (which is kind of shitty since noobs can get it). And you can open doors and lean! Cod has never done that before in multiplayer, and I think ghost was like a test for a lot if new things like extinction mode (which was really fun if you play with friends) and movement mechanics. And we have to think that this case along bf4, so I think ghost was trying to win some bf fans with this stuff, which ultimately failed. Ghost was shit, but it's not the best and it shouldn't get as much hate that we think it should, it's more if a 6/10 or maybe a 6.5 if have the dlc.

I feel like BO3 was the perfect cod. Just modern enough without going too far like AW or IW. Good MP maps, good Zombies maps, a twister of a campaign. to me it really felt like that had taken everything they learned and put it all into one game.

MW2 is fun, but definitely not great. Far too unbalanced.
MW was revolutionary, but only revolutionary. Not actually as great as nostalgia makes you remember.
BO too the revolution MW started and went with it, but had the worst weapon selections for zombies.
WaW is like the godfather. Like damn was it the best in it day but got fucking OLD.
