Women should indeed try and remain fit, but competitive sports should be left for men.
Also, the only reason why people watch women's sports is because of the beautiful bodies. Only old men with nothing better to do watch women's sports as a last resort of entertainment.

I have an other theory. The US ladies soccer team (the just won the world cup) played against a men school team (under 15) and they lost bigtime. So their skill and stamina is just hugely below men teams. So the mens matched are technically and conditionally of a much higher level and their performance is of a much higher level which makes them psychologically more exciting and interesting to watch which makes them more popular which generates more income which generates higher salaries. Correct or not?

Maybe not, but most people share this opinion. That's why more people watch sports at the highest level. It's about ratings and about how many people attend sports events. More ratings and higher attendance means a bigger impact for sponsors, so they'll pay more.

Both the level of competition and popularity/sponsorships matter. The US Women soccer team has been far more successful at its level than the men, but does it regularly outdraw the men in attendance at its matches, and are its sponsorships just as good or better in revenue? If so, they should be paid the same. If not, then no. It's true that US men's soccer often plays home games with more of the crowd for the opposition, especially if the opponent is Mexico, but doesn't always happen that way.

I'd also say that there is a cultural element. Men are encouraged to watch and play sports far more than women are and are more likely to develop an interest in it. Men also won't really view women as a competitor in sports since teams are generally segregated by gender and mixed teams are a little uncomfortable since you're concerned about injuring the women. Plus, men are discouraged against looking up to a woman as a hero or role model.

So basically the gender norms encourage many men to watch men playing sports and discourage watching women play, as well as discouraging women from developing an interest in the first place.

Thus, men sports teams have far more fans which translates into more overall money in the business which finds it's way to the players' paychecks.

Different person here but technically the answer is yes. Back in the days of hunting and gathering, men developed to be more physically capable than women so that they could hunt for food and defend the family. Those physical traits that were useful for hunting and fighting also coincidentally make men better at ball-centric activities such as: ball kicking, ball throwing, and ball catching (i.e., sports).
