McDonald’s uses pink slime. In N Out uses 70/30 Grade A beef that is always fresh, never frozen. In N Out grills to order. They never use warmers or heat lamps. Their produce and their buns are always fresh. They value clean restaurants and good customer service.

Yeah that’s dumb. In his defense though, you can at least tell how limited In N Out is from the menu. Burgers, fries, shakes, that’s it. I love it, but the variety of a place like McDonalds is nice too.

In N Out is a privately held company that exists in multiple states and pays what they pay voluntarily. In fact, the founders are super christian, so they're probably conservative. They just recognize that it's worth it to pay good people good money. And they never went public, so tehy don't have to race to the bottom for the sake of shareholders.

in terms of just the beef its about the same as anywhere else. They do seem to use fresh vegetables and what not though. The presentation is much cleaner than other places if you count that as quality.

It's an institution here. The price can't be beat, and it's one of the few places you can go and actually get the same level of service no matter the location.
A lot of the older people I've spoken to claim it's one of the few chains you can eat at and still get old fashioned quality.

We have them in Texas, now. Still prefer Whataburger, but I like how big their tomato slices are. It's a very good burger, don't get me wrong, but they're never as busy as Whataburger.
