All depends what you're going for man, each has its benefits. On pancakes smooth is better, but on french toast it's gotta be crunchy. PBJ can go either way, but concord grape + smooth is an uncontested classic. Mixed in vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt? Crunchy for sure. On celery = smooth.

I go with sliced french, if I must have white, try a 22 grain and seed blend toasted most often.

With oatmeal it depends on if there's also fruit (fruit = smooth). On toast with honey crunchy is a clear winner, but smooth is superior when used as icing for chocolate cupcakes. With bananas it's a toss-up, but if you're hungover I'd go with smooth.
