Yes. Butane boils at -40º.
Here's what I used to do:
Get 12 inch PVC pipe with 2 end caps. Drill one end cap with a single hole to connect to the butane. Drill the other cap like a salt shaker. Put a coffee filter in the cap with multiple holes and attach to PVC pipe. Fill it with weed. Attach the other end cap and position over a glass dish. Turn on the butane. Collect the filtrate. Allow butane to boil off. Do not add heat at any point.
