thank you. i'll check it out. anyone seen the wailing? keep hearing good things.
thank you
kill yourself nigr
1 hour in i thot this was gonna suck but it came through. not quite god-tier but amazing ntl
not the most terrifying film but 5*
split btw this and banshee chapter. haven't seen either.
this was good
this looks like it has potential?
kind of boring but worth it for that one scene with the chair
10/10
over rated
first half was good, second half kinda mehh
Midsommar
Fuck the trailer it’s great and wicked disturbing
Agreed actually. That scene with the tall dude reminded me of night terrors I used to have. Also, the pool scene was bad a
So excited to see this. Arri aster is the future of horror
Anyone seen la cabins? I hear it fucks u up
Drumpf helped produce this. Is it any good?
Is this good?
yeah that scene was the scariest part of the movie, that dude came out straight out of nightmare land
I still can’t sleep. I’m reminded of the scene in The Road, the novel version, when the little boy wants to see some horrible sight and the father tells him no, no, you have to be careful what you let into your head. I feel like I let some strange things into my head tonight.
Annabel or Paranormal Activity
Good chat lads. No thanks to any of u fags I have a short list I will pick from based on scouring some Reddit threads and reading other shit
Grave encounters 2011
In the mouth of madness 1994
Banshee chapter 2013
When a stranger calls 1979
Threads 1984
Shutter 2004
Savageland 2015
Lake mungo 2008
La cabina 1972
Trash tier.
Everyone who's watched it has told me it's shit but I liked it.
As above so below.
Really underrated horror film.
The new version of suspiria is pretty good
Hi Op. It's a little old, from 2012, but have you seen Sinister?
Another oldie, but goldie is "1408" with jotn Cusac.
Movies that fucked me up
Jacobs Ladder
Cannibal Holocaust
I enjoyed the shit out of that movie from start to finish.
that nigger movie
it was pretty good, but that end was whack. should've been them opening the door and entering hell instead of that bullshit back on the streets of Paris thing.
boring
2008. Not the remake. It's French so make sure it has subs.

the latest ghostbusters remake, with that sjw nigger bullshit cast
it's so bad it'll give you nightmares for weeks
Is this bait? This has to be bait I just watched this movie and it was so fucking trash only niggers would praise this as a good movie. Shit made no sense at all and yes I paid attention I know the niggers swapped but what was the movie about at the end of the day? Shit tier garbage movie
That was the point, and you missed it.
She went through the crucible and came out the other end, changed. You have to go down to go up, etc.
>a little old
>2012
Fuck right off
Same here, it made me wonder why claustrophobia is so underused in horror. Way more unnerving than "boo! Spoopy childface!"
Loved both of those. Cusack killed in 1408. Sinister got me good too. You remember that cusak film from early 2000s “identity.” That was my fav movie when I was lil
Thank you
Oh shit you are right that would have been 100x better. Like the ending to “house that jack built”. Did you see that one? disturbing but really was only the final scene that fucked me up good. Matt Dillon is a hero
Agree unfortunately didn’t do it for me but I respect some people got it
Lol wut? How did it not make sense. You must be dumber than a nigger to not understand the central concept.
Fu k that gay ass remake, the original one with Ash was scarier and that was a border line comedy.
>horror film pro tip:
If the plot succumbs to the dog getting killed first cliche, just find something else to watch
Thank you. Haven’t heard of this.
>Fuck right off
Give it a rest. My mother took me to see moonraker in the movie theatre. Starwars too.
2012 is a long time ago moviewise.
Not a horror, but if you like gangster movies, another old movie from the 90s called "Fresh"
No rules, 24/7 active Yea Forums chat server, come shit post, get the fuck in here already

It was interesting. Thought the ending didn’t pay off though. Similar style I enjoyed more was haute tension
Is that the one where the kids father gets drunk and blames all his problems on de whyte man, then eventually beats his wife to death? Then the little shitskin hangs his dog? Yeah that’s a pretty great movie
A Classic imo. More films should abandon the fucking cgi and go back to good old special effects, masks and puppets. They rely too heavily on shitty cgi and get lazy.
Thanks grandpa
Thank you! A generally creepy, scary film. No pop-ups. No over the top score. Just a really good story with quality characters. The horror and suspense came naturally cause I was actually INVESTED in the film
>god-tier horror films of the past 20 years
Wake up, you little Gen-Z fucker.
Nothing the last 20 years has been god-tier, because you little shits can't tell the difference.
I have, it’s long but it’s good
So so, it’s not great but it’s worth a watch
Try this one on for size.
propaganda race baiting bullshit
sage
I thought the Ritual was really scary

>god-tier horror films of the past 20 years
I was glad i wasnt the only one when i talked to my friends and they were like "Yea man the tall dude"
Unfortunately they're remaking Jacobs Ladder. :D

THE VOID
Ok so the movie that had nothing to do with race and had everything to do with identity and poverty was somehow “race baiting.”
You are a stupid faggot who saw one darkie and got angry. Bet my life you never even watched the film. Turn off Fox News. retard.
This looks cool af
ITT: Kids and eternal summerfags
I keep putting off watching this but It’s on my list.
Did anyone see THTJB and if so did u like it?
awesome movie
I didn't really care for it.
It wasn't bad... just... idk. I can't explain it. Just wouldn't ever watch it again
the movie is good, the twists are kinda predictable.... but india eisley is fucking gorgeous and makes up for any flaws
When watching the preview I didn't realize that the crazy people were all doppelgangers of the family until they mentioned it. Because you know all black people look alike so I didn't think anything of it.
Not even a little scary but India Eisley is fucking hot and she does full frontal.
salo
cucks eyes
it
Get out was alright especially for a debut, this was not a good film
Solid picture scary in a different way
Probably my favorite
They made the prequel remake recently and were all set to do everything with practical effects, and for budget concerns or whatever reason the studio called and told them to CGI everything. What a shame
Church
Massively disturbing for me
Eat my shithole nigger.
I thought us was much stronger than get out. better premise that wasn't about race. better acting. much better ending. and dat score gd
no u
i enjoyed it for what it was. wait no i didn't. i appreciated it for what it was. hated watching it though. just didn't do it for me the way other torture porn does like hostel, and human centipede. gotta commend them for going all the way tho. "newborn porn" will never forget that line/
was that baby cgi???????
i might watch it once more with someone who never saw it before. but yeah. it was.... different. made me feel really gross after watching it. gotta say it quite an experience.
It's Von Trier's worst film in quite some time.
couldnt be worse than nympho
Kill List is essentially a better version of that movie.
Sadly it is.
Especially if you're looking for an actual horror film.
>Kill List is essentially a better version of that movie.
What?? Fucking incel, stick to DC movies you inbred.
LOL. A Serbian Film is the most basic bitch incel shit there is out there.
how so???????
Lake Mungo
true. im glad you reminded me of kill. fucking brilliant movie 95% and then turned into generic cult bullshit at the end.
doesnt matter tho. still great film. 9/10
is lake mungo really 94% on RT worthy? Sometimes RT fucks up with indie horror and shit movies get 80-90 while good horror gets like 50
phantasm
> boy!
It's basically just Von Trier working out his grievances against his critics, ex's, co-workers through a serial killer story. It's just sort of boring though.
Wheatley is great with atmosphere. All his movies kind of have a horror edge to them.
To be fair, the last time I was scared from watching a horror movie was when I was 13 or 14 and watched nightmare on elmstreet.
Better watch the actual news thats already scary as hell. So see society slowly drifting off to something we thought we had overcome with the fall of the nazis or at latest the berlin wall. Restriction of freedom, discrimination of minorities and a surveillance state. Altering the behaviour of citizens by letting them know that each and every of their steps is being monitored.
Shaun of the Dead
Slither
Cabin in the Woods
Straight horror is dead IMO, only horror comedy does it for me anymoar.
Good flick. I recommend. Scary in an uncanny and surreal way.
Probably tge best horror ever made no budget no gore and scary as fuck
I enjoyed it but it’s not 10/10
Was excellent.
Wasn’t the greatest thing everything
In that vein though:
Hellraiser I & II
A favorite of mine
I preferred #2 but I can’t argue with you
?
But right in the middle!
Agreed it made me feel like it was something I shouldn’t have been watching
Yes 2 its more a fun watch but for the horror 74
I THINK
The sequel makes it worthwhile in a way.
>posts suspense movies
user....
OP specified "the past 20 years". But if we're going for classics, how about Hellraiser?
Ah damn, someone mentioned Hellraiser already. But still, not in the past 20 years.
Horror does have a rather low bar, it’s gotta be said.
The 2018 suspiria remake stuck with me for days on end.
Wrong
Black Christmas (1974)
Just watch. Don't research.
a classic, but we're discussing from 2000 onwards
The crew actyally did all the practicals and shot the film with practical effects. It was only in post when the producers demanded that all the shots with practical to be covered with that cgi shit. Didn't make any sense since it just cost them even more money, the practicals were even pretty god tier, they just thought the cgi shit was a fad. The effects guys later went on made Harbinger Down just to showcase their work
imo only horror classics past 20 years:
The Ring
Paranormal Activity
It Follows
Hereditary
Suspiria remake
