a few years back i had to live with my sister, her ex and her my bother. for months, morning and night, i had to clean up after them AND ALL their friends (and the dogs). I said no, fuck you, im not cleaning any more of your shit, i would rather live in filth than clean up other peoples messes.

Fuck man, I don't blame you. Unless I'm forced to, I always clean up after myself and never waste anything. Meanwhile, the rest of my family does exactly what your family seems to do, just leaves all their shit on the stove and counters. My older sister is actually smart, reasonable, remembers us growing up dirt fucking poor, and literally lived in a third world country with her fiance for 2.5 years teaching English to Thai kids, so she knows not to do that and scolds my younger brother and sister for it. She's the only of my four siblings with half a brain.

Why tho? I wouldn't even bother. I'm that kind of person that won't do anything for other people if they can't do simple shit like clean up after themselves. At my mom's house my room and my brother's are connected by one bathroom, and it is so fucking disgusting. Every time I go over there the entire counter has shit all over it, I move everything to his side, and he still doesn't clean it up. He's so fucking disgusting and retarded he throws his toilet paper in the corner beside the toilet because he thinks having a septic tank means that you can't throw away, I'm not even kidding. It's fucking vile, and sometimes I just want to bleach the entire god damn bathroom, it drives me insane and infuriates me. And he never washes his hands either. It's beyond disgusting to the point that absolutely nothing could phase me anymore.
