Yea stuff happens. I know that not having a job doesn't mean you wouldn't get a job if you could, but there are many factors in people's way sometimes. Something as simple as being stuck in a situation where you could not work for say a year to handle family issues would leave a gap that future employees would take as a sign not to hire. you.

Hm? I found stress level is dependent on the job. At my time working at McDonalds was my most stressful time. It may sound weird but on average I was most relaxed working in the military. It helps choosing a job that fits you. I personally like more activity and less bull from people who... for example ask directly for one thing on their burger, but then pretend they didn't ask for it. Trust me, the McDonalds customers can be the worst, unreasonable, and stupid even when they are wrong. The real issue is I was forced to smile and remake their orders when we constantly get more orders flowing in to keep up with. My saving grace was my hand eye coordination and speed at making any order, but it got so stressful.
