I mean. You do realize that that amounts to little more then platitudes in the modern day. The feds consistently took more and more authority away from the people and theres not one politician alive at this point who seriously believes their authority is in our hands. Yes we vote for them but once they are in they completely hold their power and most of them immediately play the politics game at congress because that is where the power to be had is. Very few of them even ever travel back to their constituencies let alone care about them. They even gain a wide array of powers that were not available to them when we created our rights and laws/privleges. The feds kept taking authority until ideas that we loan them power was little more then a joke of a bygone era. It would take very serious reform from people who understand the need for it to get back to that. People who don't put themselves first which is increasingly rare in America.
