I've been noticing the monster that Google has become. They own many websites and have outright bought ideas and other websites from smaller domains or companies (The most noteworthy being Youtube). They try to push their left-wing agendas, and they completely disregard the privacy of its users. The monopoly that is Google honestly needs to be stopped.
Shit on my post if you want but I hope there's someone here who agrees with me. -user
sorry reality has a left-wing bias. Google hates lying bullshit, they're not beholden to any agenda.
Caleb Bennett
Google’s ultimate goal is to take over the Internet, therefore own information and how it’s distributed, then switch on SkyNet and kill humanity.
Austin Torres
>sorry reality has a left-wing bias How many genders are there?
Zachary Allen
So, we should build AM so it can absorb Google first?
Blake Reed
>reality has a left-wing bias natural selection?
Isaiah Gutierrez
We need John Connor
Camden Foster
Type black couple in google images, now type white couple. Google is part of a massive media machine used to control peoples minds and it will only become more apparent and scary as time goes on. Good luck brothers, see you at the finish line.
Nicholas Moore
maybe he/she/them/their was thinking of physics. >path of least resistance.
Matthew Nguyen
>Google is part of a massive media machine used to control peoples minds haha how is that even real just walk away from the screen nigga
Seriously. People need to unplug and walk away. If it's not Google controlling what we think, it'll be somebody else.
Nolan Gomez
kek
Adam Perry
Glownigger detected
John Howard
K, think of this, how many times do you say "Google it" instead of "Look it up"/"Search it"
kinda strange huh
Nicholas Edwards
...acting like any of this is new. Jewgle glows in the dark, and has for a very, very long time.
>glows in the dark does that mean that we can see what they are doing or that they aren't hiding it?
Cameron Jones
>Google honestly needs to be stopped. Yeah good luck with that
Wyatt Torres
I like how you are making a pretty good anti-capitalist critique with such a distain for "left-wing agendas"
Jose Taylor
I'm all for capitalism to an extent, but when it comes to a monopoly like Google taking over the internet that's when it becomes a problem. That's why we have anti-trust laws so small businesses can grow too
Nathan Murphy
You do understand that the search results on google aren't actually part of google... right?
Lucas Thomas
too bad they went to right-wing news outlets. amazon owns business insider there are many google competitors that would love the story. it's obviously fake.
Daniel Cruz
Google has a tendency to alter organic search results for a more "favorable" result
Cameron James
Be quiet or they will designate you as a deceptive site
Jack Stewart
>how many times do you say "Google it" Never. I actually never use that phrase. I always say "look it up"
Gabriel Gray
>reality has a left-wing bias >Google hates lying bullshit >not beholden to any agenda Is today opposite day?
Nathaniel Nelson
>anti-capitalist critique "The political defense of capitalism is that economic power is diffuse and cannot be aggregated in such a manner as to have undue influence over the democratic state. Both of these core claims for capitalism are demolished if monopoly, rather than competition, is the rule."
Adam Stewart
>search results on google aren't actually part of google you for real Yea Forumsro? kek
Tyler Hernandez
No, keep going. You had so fucking great start. We have anti-trust laws. Why didn't they stop Google? Who is responsible?
Xavier Lopez
Try out Yandex. You get some pretty straight-dope results. It really sucks for searching for stuff in your town or for US-based movies or sports or the like. >inb4 retarded af "russian bot collusion" shit
Levi Taylor
They are already a mega monopoly and influence democracy.
Hunter Collins
How are you realizing this like a decade too late?
Angel Hughes
Yeah, monopoly or oligopoly is the natural end state of capitalism. There is a game about that, it's called Monopoly
Levi Russell
>it's obviously fake Did you even hear and see teh documents last week? They even sent some rookie to questioning in front of Congress. They dun goofed.
John Cooper
> push their left-wing agendas
Dude, they just do whatever makes them money and right now that sells.
If fucking a child to death on camera would make them billions, they would be doing that. Google is a perfect example of capitalism.
They should be broken up into a ton of smaller companies but they suck so much dick in Congress that it will never happen.
Carter Taylor
>the natural end state of capitalism wut
Colton Hill
And that's the thing- Google has almost all of the top sites on the web right now. Aside from the search engine and youtube, they're the biggest ad provider, biggest mobile OS, and the biggest web browser. And they're using one position to influence another. Use a Microsoft browser on a Google website, and you'll get inundated with bogus security warnings telling you to switch to chrome. Even if it's not a google website, if it has google ads, the ads get replaced with fake errors telling the user they need chrome.
Ryder Taylor
it was suppressed for me I guess.
Jaxson Ward
>left wing agenda OOOOHH how scary!! >mfw this is what keeps conservatives up at night
Then why not dismantle them, when they are so oppressive. Why not disassemble the whole system and build new from the ground up so it can never happen again?
Eli Clark
Need to pass the big tech regulation bill
Colton Smith
If you dont like the company or product use a different search engine and use a different video streaming platform. Nobody said you have to use them
Ayden Ramirez
Like the NRA for the repubs?
Camden Brooks
>monopoly or oligopoly is the natural end state of capitalism that's just commie critique. it isn't part of the political system it's supposed to be respected and regulated by the political system.
Cooper Jackson
Not enough
Parker Collins
>disassemble the whole system the fed is suppose to break it up into smaller competitive companies but the fed doesn't understand tech.
Ian Hughes
How can the NRA be a monopoly? They're an activist group that runs on donations/memberships. You're thinking more like the SPLC for the left.
Nolan Allen
I'm not sure this would do anything other than prevent Jewgle from slushing money around the entire corporation. I'm not sure I'd want a half dozen smaller protected companies.
Nathan Murphy
Have you played monopoly? But seriously: >competition is good for the market and the people (mostly). >companies don't like competition because it forces to do shit other than scrape money >therefore they eliminate competition >when they reach monopoly (or oligopoly in some cases) they do everything in their power to stay like that >weve got proper monopoly If you don't agree with something I can explain further
While their on the topic, has anyone noticed it is much harder to get through the captchas. I've got to go through at least 3 or 4 just to get one that offers the verify button
Luis Turner
Yeah, Yea Forums is full of this theory, but it's never been true. Monopolies don't continue on as monopolies for very long. They get top heavy and competition is much leaner. Think how much everyone hated Walmart back in the 90s. Then Amazon came by and took them out at the knees. Now they're both too big to fail and are protected by the government.
How much better off would we be if GM was allowed to fail? The demand for cars wouldn't go down, so someone else would step in and make some newer, better cars. But the gov't stepped in and kept things shitty.
Monopoly is the natural end to corporate welfare and bailouts.
Colton Rivera
HEY YOU FUCKING NIGGER COME JOIN THE BEST DISCORD GROUP THAT DOESN'T POST GORE OR CP LIKE SHITTY /U/ COME JOIN US RIGHT NOW AT discord/gg/EjChZ8
Caleb Edwards
Google and Microsoft need to are monopolies. >Republican and Democrats used to hate them and break them up. >Corporations now own this Earth. Sad shit.
Luis Allen
You know I've never thought about it like that and it makes sense
Eli Bailey
Just look up white American family and look at the photos. This should tell you how the cock sucking faggots at Google works.
>companies don't like competition because it forces to do shit other than scrape money >therefore they eliminate competition Actually Apple and Microsoft proved that competition is beneficial in more than just sales.
Zachary Sanchez
>Jussie Smollett What was I supposed to notice there?
Gabriel White
I don't really understand what you mean. I'm a yurofag, so I don't know much about NRA, but they seem to me like "right-wing, muh guns, muh freedom". So i guess like that, but I don't really agree much with their politics.
>that's just commie critique. >it isn't part of the political system it's supposed to be respected and regulated by the political system. Political and economic systems are intertwined. It's supposed to be regulated but as you can see it is not
>the fed is suppose to break it up into smaller competitive companies but the fed doesn't understand tech. How is it being a tech company relevant. There are real fucking large oil companies, agro companies, food companies, textile companies , pharma companies and so on.
>I'm not sure this would do anything other than prevent Jewgle from slushing money around the entire corporation. I'm not sure I'd want a half dozen smaller protected companies. I meant dismantling Google to the point of nonexistence. But yes, small corporate structures are less damaging to the society
Julian Nelson
Nice Try Jewoogle, we know who's behind this post.
Jaxon Cox
Legit, this is insane.
Robert Rodriguez
And how many of you will get stadia when it's released?
Nathan Morgan
WTF?!?!?!?!??!?!?!? (O_O)
Nicholas Foster
whats insane is white people being scared of a search result lmao 1rst world problems #sheltered
Ayden Myers
Do you know why they act like they are left-wing ? So no one talks about how right-wing they are. They are a monopoly, that bearly pays taxes, that bought every glimps of competition they had and that is why.
If you are against their policies i would suggest not getting fooled like a monkey by a card trick.
Eeeeeverybody talks about how left wing they are. Kek
Logan Bell
>their politics People say they are alt-right because they lobby for the 2nd amendment and the left doesn't like guns. I think they were getting into other political issues lately idk. They tend to support republicans but they do find the random democrat.
>intertwined yes >it is not that is problem
>There are real fucking large yes but they all have competition. what is google's competition? amazon? maybe?
>dismantling Google to the point of nonexistence That doesn't just happen >small corporate structures are less damaging to the society Says who? Look at Standard Oil and how he grew even richer/bigger after it was split up.
Nathaniel Murphy
How are you attributing some kind of "right wing" aspect to this? And how delusional are you to ignore them when they say "we are a left leaning company"?
Sebastian James
Google is more trustworthy than any other company you've ever encountered.
Brayden Anderson
Try "pregnant black woman" there are no men in the pics lol
Angel Bennett
Hoping Trump has them, Facebook, and many more broken up. Next either they are a publisher or not. Since Trump cant block people on Twitter then Twitter has no right to block anyone. Its time for lawsuits. Time to being down the bigboys.
Thomas Harris
>pregnant black woman Oh fuck, you're right.
Evan Johnson
>Standard Oil competition were able to sell them patents and then they suppressed the competing tech. oil itself is just now getting a competitive resource alternative. the gov failed to enforce anti-trust here too. when oil is a thing of the past we will all find out exactly how much was suppressed.
Jack Adams
I can't think of one.
Jason Collins
>pregnant black woman kek
Liam Thomas
Time to bring down google
Xavier Howard
What? There was no competition. Standard Oil was massive, the gov't forced them to break it up, it only got bigger and mode more money than he ever could've done with just the one.
Ian Taylor
Type "black father" and it's all kinds of black dads with their kids. "white father" goes back to mixed couples and family pics again. Fags.
Jaxon Rogers
>Monopolies don't continue on as monopolies for very long. >Now they're both too big to fail and are protected by the government. Not saying that. Monopoly can easily become a dipoly or oligopoly. But this doesn't mean we get the sweet dream of capitalism of thoisand small businesses everywhere without the govment. Corporations use the state as a tool i can't really blame them for that, they are acting in their best interest. The system works as it is supposed to work.
>Actually Apple and Microsoft proved that competition is beneficial in more than just sales. I am interested, what is the beneficial thing they did. They didn't really innovate, most of the tech they work with comes from the public sector research. They spy, they steal data, they buy other smaller companies, they exploit cheap labor. There is a lot of of things that aren't beneficial, that are the result of this system of global capitalism
Luke Garcia
You can also see it in the autofills. Try "trump is" and you get a whole list, try "hillary is" and it's always blank. But yeah, they're not lefty.
There was no alternative to oil, so no matter how many companies there were, you were going to get the same product, oil, there was no apple to their windows.
Ian Watson
Capitalism and Government are opposites. The only thing that allows capitalism to flourish is the lack of government.
Matthew Hall
Demonitizing youtubers such Joe Rogan just for giving everyone an equal platform to speak. Big Tech is the new Big Oil.
Christian Sanders
Big oil actually gave you something and didn't care who they sold it to. They are the opposite of big oil.
Jordan Bell
I know and you're right nothing but a bunch of soy faggots
Asher Gomez
>beneficial thing they did Read their histories instead of making inflammatory statements that you can not backup. I don''t think the countries that produced those products are complaining.
James Johnson
I'm going to fucking reddit. I don't know what your point is anymore.
Isaac Anderson
>public sector research Do you just make this shit up as you go?
Isaac Walker
>gunz Well I'm a leftist and i like guns. Both as a machine and as a political tool. As Marx said: > The whole proletariat must be armed Guns were very useful for example during the Civil rights movement. It's pretty hard to find a leftist who doesn't like guns. What I think you mean is >liberals don't like guns Yep, they are whoring for the status quo >alt-right Basically the freicorps of our time, when the economical shit hits the fan just right, like it did in 1928, we gonna see something
>big corporations Yeah, Google seems to be pretty much a good example of a monopoly, in other sectors it might be bit different, but still you get few big corporations and consumer suffers as a result. There are other structures other then classic corporate, that proved themselves bretty good.
Kevin Ramirez
>That doesn't just happen Grab a molotov and your mosin, comrade, we can do this >Says who? Look at Standard Oil and how he grew even richer/bigger after it was split up. Within that context I guess I take it back, but usually the argument goes the standard pro-capitalist way "more businesses means more competition and more competition gooood" or some shit like that
Bentley Rogers
>Capitalism and Government are opposites. The only thing that allows capitalism to flourish is the lack of government. Are you an ancap, you sure sound like one. I don't know if you define capitalism as just "freedom" as most ancaps , but I go with "the private ownership of the means of production". It is pretty well known, that capitalism relies on a government
Lincoln Garcia
>other structures such as?
Charles Bell
>Grab a molotov and your mosin I have both. Standing by.
Jayden Sanders
>Are you an ancap I don't know what I am. Too many labels. I guess partially. >pretty well known >capitalism relies on a government I keep reading this on Yea Forums, but I don't believe it. The greatest (purest) form of capitalism in the US was the West before the Feds and the banks moved in. No gov't and the capitalist economy prospered.
Landon Hernandez
>the private ownership Forgot to add... Yes, I agree with this, but there's something between capitalism and socialism, and it's corporatism. It's still considered capitalism, but when you make deals for the government to push your service to schools in trade for spying and recording citizens' data, that's not capitalism and there's something wrong.
Ian Cox
>Read their histories instead of making inflammatory statements that you can not backup. >I don''t think the countries that produced those products are complaining. 1. "to be beneficial" is a subjective thing, that is why I am asking 2. Inflamatory statements: Yep i can back up my statements tell me which one to back up. You can also consult these wiki articles, these practices are usually considered unethical: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coltan_mining_and_ethics en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foxconn_suicides en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planned_obsolescence 3. Can you tell me what were the beneficial things they done? >I don''t think the countries that produced those products are complaining. Countries maybe not. Workers and consumers sure as hell are
Justin Long
>Do you just make this shit up as you go? No, my friend, tell me what technology Apple invented, tell me Corporations are good at packaging stuff into things they sell, but the underlying technologies come from da big evil govment
>en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planned_obsolescence Lazy consumers that don't want to learn how their products function. Mac and Microsoft cannot be expected to support products from the 80's. Though with enough money I'm sure they would. >Countries maybe not. Workers and consumers sure as hell are COMMUNIST CHINA A failure of the state is a failure of the community. It's literally in the name.
Thomas Harris
>such as? Depends on what you want them to do. If you want a strong economic growth of a nation you can lookup for example the soviet union >from a feudal rural shithole to a fucking global superpower in 30 years , sign me the fuck up But if you want a genuine society that is good to live in maybe you might be interested in worker coops and anarchic governments, that is how I got into this mess. Some examples, look em up: >Revolutionary catalonia >Black army during Russian civil war >paris commune >rojava >titoism And quite a few more For the worker coops you can lookup prof Richard wolff
Jose Williams
That black couple/white couple is the same on Bing too.
Isaiah Phillips
>I don't know what I am. Too many labels. labels are overwhelming, but sometimes useful
>govt and capitalism Usually it boils down market failiures, aka "when market doesn't do good" And government is there to flextape over these failures to fix them (in theory). Getting rid of government would open these holes and it wouldn't be good. I realize an example would help: >Company is dumping toxic chemicals into the water, its cheap. >maximum you can do without government is orginize a boycott, but those aren't really effective. >But the government can step in and use it's power to make them not do that >wild west I don't really know jack shit about wild west besides westerns, but they don’t seem to be free market capitalist freedomzones but rather small isolated communities, i will look it up.
Zachary Baker
Usually, when someone talks about corporatism it seems to me like a cheap way to push the bad things capitalism does away from it. I never heard it well defined
Owen Gray
1st step is to use a different browser & search engine
Brandon Cox
I was calling out your "public sector" comment. The public sector makes nothing. The public sector didn't invent the transistor, the LCD screen, the TV, the mouse. The private sector made that. Apple made it smaller or cheaper. MS wrote software for the average user. Some shit was stolen, other stuff was created. It's not like all cars built today are merely ripoffs of Benz's design and there's no innovation. So what did the government invent, tell me.
Jayden Morris
>Bing >google jr.
Gabriel Bennett
Google nneds to be broken up. And Facebook and Twitter nned to be nationalized and taken over by the government. They have become utilities at this point. They government had to do it in the early does to private phone and electric companies for public service.
Eli Walker
No all someone has to do is share the money they make from data mining their userbase with the users, then you can literally watch everyone flock to it and away from faceberg and shitter. Imagine a social media platform that pays you for content and using it. Multi-million dollar idea here btw.
Nicholas Nelson
Fucking hell, how can someone be this fucking dense? Were did you get this genious argumentation strategy? From a fucking 1950s anti-communist propaganda? You didn't read any of it. >planned obsolescence im an EE, I can tell you it's real thing that gets taught in unis. Its pretty easy to make a TV that lasts more than 40 years, I live in a postCOMMUNIST state and there are still well functioning soviet devices. Modern smartphones life cycle is bout 1-2 years at best. Also this directly goes aginst your dumb claim: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electronics_right_to_repair Read those articles from the fucking top to the fucking bottom, lazy fuck. I can't argue with someone this dumb
>feudal rural shithole to a fucking global superpower in 30 years They weren't feudal pre 1917. They progressed at the same rate as the rest of the world. Attributing any of it to government type is autistic.
>>Revolutionary catalonia >>Black army during Russian civil war >>paris commune >>rojava >>titoism
>good to live
Carson Jenkins
>underlying technologies come from da big evil govment Transistors came from the Bell corporation. they are the underlying tech that made computers possible.
And now they oepn up a checkbook to make a "donation" which magically end sup in some congressmens pockets and then suddenly its no big deal and they ungoofed.
Michael Morales
Jesus fucking christ i thought it was a joke.... Then i did it and its not.
Thomas Reed
>planned obsolescence Consumers have a responsibility before they make a purchase to understand the device and the companies policies. Laziness in not reading the policies and not working to understand the device is on the consumer. If you don't agree with the company's practices, don't buy the device. Also There are ways around it in tech. I'm not defending these companies. My first point was that competition is beneficial to the companies. I don't have money so I jerry-rig, tinker, upkeep, maintain, torrent, and hack. If companies didn't want me to do this they'd be more open and make their shit to a higher standard. Governments do the same thing as these companies (even communist/socialist ones) in that they just the cheapest option, the only difference is that Governments don't give a fuck about what you have to say about it and they'll take your money anyway.
this. what is the youtube alternative? when are creaters moving? literally nothing is keeping them at youtube anymore. It wouldn't take much to take on youtube. Just pay your fucking creators.
Josiah Jones
How do we get that started?
Hunter Lopez
Maybe if you got off Yea Forums and hit the books, you could compete.
Buy a catchy .com and start advertising on youtube. lol Perfect the kids network and highly scrutinize it making parents trust the site. Once those kids grow up they won't use their parents youtube but their own platform. Cater to creators and promote good content instead of youtube.com/watch?v=PmlRbfSavbI garbage. Maybe direct and support specific content and promote discussion.
Dominic Long
>Foxconn suicides >Of the 230k-450k workers, 24 commit suicide >Suicide rate in the US in 2014 was 13/100k people >Even at the most conservative number for worker count, still ~10.43/100k people >Suicide rate better than that of the US >Implying that their lives are worse than American citizens' lives based on suicides
There's a reason workers line up to get jobs as Foxconn factories.
Adam Sanchez
>Break up Google >Not in favor of soviet-style propaganda

See constant facebook posts during feb about inventions by black people.
the one that sticks out the most was the gas mask. so i wanted to loko into it more.
The "gas mask" that the nigger invented was nothign more then a bag on your head with a fucking hose going to the ground... have fun with mustard gas you fucking tard.
Everything and i mean damn near EVERYTHING that black people have "invented" has been nothing more then something a white man looked at and said "your retarded but im gonna make something good out of this fuster cluck you call an invention"
Christian Phillips
don't use fb. pretty simple.
Bentley Williams
>I was calling out your "public sector" comment. The public sector makes nothing. In the US public sector technically doesn't exist (maybe the post office), but some companies are really close to the government. Problem is how you define "public" That said I didn't say that public sector makes nothing. It makes and it does R&D. >transistor AT&T, they patented it. Sure a private sector invention >the LCD screen The wikipedia article is very long and im too lazy, but there are some "patented", so sure, private sector >the TV Dunno, some "patented", probably private >the mouse This one seems to be invented by someone from royal navy, so I would say public. The problem isn't that "lazy business do no research". But that it actively hampers advances by using patents and similar stuff. >So what did the government invent, tell me. Lookup NASA, DARPA and other US agencies. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_research_and_development_agencies Or the soviet design bureaus en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OKB

No, i dont think so, even though it had two world wars and a civil war fought on its territory, it really became a global power >Attributing any of it to government type is autistic.
